I bought this same apron a year ago , really liked it, so looked for another when I wanted a second apron to rotate in washing. I chose the one from the other company that is the same price and looks the same, but they had a front pocket style that looked more useful for my needs. Both said they had 40” ties. When I got that one , it wouldn’t wrap around and knot in the front comfortably like this one had.... So I reordered this one and returned the other. THIS ONE IS 44”, NOT 40” on each tie. I am a women’s 3x-4x(26-28)and my waist is 54”. I cook sitting down because of disabilities so there’s more pressure. I can wrap this around the back, then bring it around front and knot it and still be able to breathe! The knot comes out easily because of the fabric finish. This is also sturdier fabric, the seams are better, the straps and ties are sturdier. This one is stiff when you first get it, but it loses that in a wash or two. It doesn’t smell. The other smells of chemicals. The stains have come out easily without pretreating. IN CONCLUSION,especially if you have a larger waist like mine, I’d buy this one, plus the quality is much better, and it doesn’t smell! Very happy with this apron. It washes well, is sturdy and thick enough that cooking splatters don't seep through onto my clothes. Would purchase again.

Cooking is my passion but messing my clothes up while I do it is not; so I wear an apron regularly in the kitchen whenever i’m cooking or cleaning up. I’m hard on aprons and need a sturdy one that can take abuse and still look good. I prefer heavyweight fabric that will not only keep my clothes grease and spot free but also one that doesn’t allow my clothes to get wet while I’m slinging soapy dishwater around cleaning up after myself. This apron fits all those requirements so far. I’ve had this apron about two months and have worn it daily. I’ve only washed it once and it still looks like new...no fading or shrinkage. There are several things I really like about this apron in addition to the heavyweight fabric:1. It is a generous size so it fully protects my clothes.2. The belt is long enough that I can wrap it around my not skinny waist and tie it in the front so that it doesn’t keep coming untied.3. There is a large easily accessible pocket in the front to hold things like an instant read thermometer, timer and or hot pads, etc.4. Did I mention that it looks like new after washing it once?5. The neck strap is fully attached and adjusted with a buckle instead of tying so that those pesky loose straps don’t get in the way.6. It lays flat across the chest instead of buckling like so many others do.6. The stripes are very attractive.7. It’s a dark color (black with white stripe) so stains don’t stand out. Hopefully serious stains like tomato sauce and grease won’t show up badly in the future or will mostly wash out.8. It is very reasonably priced.I plan to get at least one more for myself. My girls are going to be getting one from Santa this year as he really appreciates keeping his clothes clean in the kitchen too.

I needed a new apron and must have looked at over 65 on Amazon and other sites before deciding on this one, in a large part based on the 5-star reviews. I must admit I am always skeptical when I see so many reviews with nothing but 5-stars because I know some other vendors in the past have offered me a heavily discounted additional product for posting a favorable review. In this case, all the 5 star reviews are completely justified! I LOVE this apron!! It is simple and basic, yet stylish and slimming because of the color and the pinstripes. I have tried on other cutesy aprons in stores and am horrified when I look in the mirror! This apron is the perfect combination of nice color to hide any small stains, thicker fabric so liquids will not soak through, long enough to cover up to mid-thigh, and best of all, big enough for a slightly larger person to be covered and with waist ties that are more than generous to wrap around the back of your waist and tie in front with room to spare. The price for this quality and size of apron is incredibly low! Delivered in 24 hours of ordering, shipped safely and arrived in such nice condition I am actually thinking these aprons would be super cute to give as gifts to all my female friends and relatives, or to pass out at a family BBQ or baking event!And no, I do not work for the company, lol! Truly one of my most favorite purchases on Amazon!

I wear it lots. I'm a 5'10" male and it was very easy to adjust the neck strap to make it fit properly. Nice to have the pockets but I don't use them much, but they are not in the way. The waist strap is plenty long enough. I love the fact that it is not to "Girly" to wear when guests are over for dinner.
