VERY good flyer; lot's of fun; GREAT service/support!
The dm007 is a great, fun flyer. Very nimble and easy to control. Also very durable: I've had nothing break after several hard crashes (the props are prone to pop off during a crash...but they don't break. Just pop 'em back on...if you can find 'em). I give this quad four stars (see the 'cons' below), but added a fifth for the excellent service and support you get from You Go Products. I've never seen better.Cons:1) Orientation hard to tell; it's all one color and the lights aren't easy to see at a distance. I suggest getting a set of white props for the front and/or painting the front prop guards a different color. I painted mine bright orange. Problem solved.2) Battery insertion is not hard. But closing the door IS. If you're not shooting video, a solution is to remove the battery door completely (it's easy to put back on when you do want to shoot video). Secure the battery with electrical tape; very easy to do. Another advantage to this the less weight increases flight time.3) I find battery life good for this size quad, unless you're flying very aggressively and/or fighting wind. That will reduce battery life on any quad. The downside for this battery is it takes a VERY long time to charge. Get an extra battery. Problem solved.4) Can't see how to remove prop guards.5) Props tend to pop off during crashes. Get extra props; they're cheap. Problem solved. That's all I can think of, but will add that I own 11 other quads in this price range and they all have their pros & cons. My four-star rating is in comparison with those other quads. The fifth star is for the best customer service I've seen from any seller. Sorry for repeating myself, but it's worth repeating.

Flashy, Noisy Joke of a "007 Spy Drone": Buyer Beware
I'll try to keep this succinct, without going off on too much of a rant.First thing I noticed upon opening the box was the missing owners manual. Odd, as so few of us are psychic, and hence rather depend on the instruction manual...even if we only consult it when confused. So, there's that. After waiting impatiently till the battery was charged, I gleefully set about getting my first flight with this new drone underway. Unlike so many other commercial hobby drones, the battery compartment is all internal, leaving no exposed wires outside the drone...unfortunately, it is entirely too small to accommodate both battery AND wires. After trying for 30 minutes without success I quit in frustration. The only way the wires will fit in that battery compartment is if you bend them severely and CRAM them into the too-small space, and doing that is guaranteed to break the fragile soldering. After pondering the dilemma for a while I decided I could live with exposed wires; and took my hot knife to the lid, cutting off the corners, making holes for the wires. My fix worked, and before long the bird was ready to fly. Minus an instruction manual one is forced to rely upon previous experience to "pair" the transmitter to the drone. Got it on my second try - (not my first drone). For a drone marketed as "007 Spy Drone", the bright flashing red & blue lights were distracting to me, and if they don't announce the presence of your "spy" drone, then the horrendous sound of dying banshees certainly will. This quad copter literally shrieks it's presence with a very high pitched, buzz saw kinda noise which is irritable to say the least. Now you may be wondering, but does it fly good? Well, not exactly. I got it in the air easy enough, but once you begin moving it around it goes berserk, takes a sharp right turn at full speed till it crashes. It crashed like this three times, each time not responding to the transmitter, and each time the darn thing kept spinning at full speed even after the throttle was all the way off!! Had to shut down the transmitter before the blades quit spinning at top speed! This is a very unsafe toy drone which can easily harm or injure anyone nearby. After my entirely disappointing experience I was ready to box it up and ship it right back for a refund; but I knew they'd bring up my modification to the battery compartment lid, so decided instead to place it on the windowsill next to my desk, as a daily reminder that Americans really will buy anything ! Had another drone a while back made by the same manufacturer, the Inguity Max Speed drone; which did the exact same thing-which got it sent right back. Got no time to be always futzing with it instead of flying it, so do yourself & your budget a favor and keep looking.

Fun, some troubles because I'm new to quadcopters, short flight time
Really fun to fly this quadcopter. I found it difficult at first and you can easily grow frustrated. (This is my first quadcopter, ever.) I like the video and pictures but i have had a lot of trouble with actually downloading the video and pictures. The files say they may be corrupt and unable to open. This may be due to me having a MAC so I will have to try to download on a PC.If this is your first quadcopter, be careful on your first trip outside. I got mine on 04/23 and flew it for a few days inside. I took it out after over a dozen test flights inside and a wind gust took it while it was flying around my house outside. Thankfully i found it 1 block away in someones front yard. I lost a propeller already so a crash pack is definitely recommended. One of the wings has also had the plastic snap but its still flying around so this quad can take a hard fallA negative i have is the very minor flight time, 4-6 minutes is all i get. (I also suggest another battery pack which i have ordered.) I also have trouble getting the nighthawk to hover inside where there is no wind to whip it around - tried all the tips and tricks and it's still tough. (might be because I'm new with quad copters)

I believe it was a genuine mistake that this happened and it looked really nice but I think I'll just stick to letting him ...
I bought this for my bf for our anniversary. In addition, I payed a fortune for expedited shipping only to discover that it does not wrk. I am n the process of returning it. I believe it was a genuine mistake that this happened and it looked really nice but I think I'll just stick to letting him purchase these sorts of things.
