This unit worked perfectly. The installation needs to insure the pipe that it is going on is CLEAN AND ROUND and the rest is a simple installation. Make sure the unit is in it final position and tighten - there were no leaks and the unit is great.

Not a whole lot more to say. I’ve had these on my house for 15 years and they’re just starting to wear out so that speaks for their quality. The old ones were soldered on so I simply heated them up and pulled them off. With the compression fitting, I’m able to simply push the new ones on and tighten with a wrench (two actually). You can feel the quality turning then on/off, especially compared to the cheaper ones made in China. Buy these, you won’t be sorry.Edit: Bought several more of these when more of my old ones started to leak but instead of removing the whole faucet, I simply unscrewed the stem from the body and swapped out the leaking one. Much quicker fix but I still have the new body in case the old one finally fails (and I get a new handle which you don’t get when just buying the stem replacement).

Bought 1/2" compression replacement faucets from the big box hardware stores, had to take them back as they were too small to fit. This one was a PERFECT match. Threads are closer together than other replacements. So very happy to have found this easy replacement. Before you start sawing and soldering, try this one.

Returned and ordered a replacement.Unfortunately I don't have spares to replace the missing partsThey had the replacement here super fast which i appreciate and have increased the rating now that I have a working hose bibb.

this is the first home i've owned that had compression fitting outside water taps. but to my suprise really easy to install and works fine

Ordered it because it was suppose to have the compression nut etc with it. All I got was a regular spigot that I could have picked up at Lowe's for half the price
