I have been waiting for the third book of this series to come out for a while and let me tell you I am not disappointed! P. Jameson is an amazing author, and this series is one of my favorite of hers. Rod and Seraphina's relationship has been building since the beginning of the first book and in Dirty Fight you finally get to see them come together. She put a few tricks in the book that I wasn't expecting that really shook up the plot and kept me up all night until I finished the whole thing. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the third book, and the wait was well worth it. I cannot wait until the next one!

Rod Turner and Serafina's story melted my heart. Rod Turner drinks about every night and has done so for a long time. By day He is hot Rod Turner at the local radio station . Every day it's hard for him to get up and get into the station. Rod has been taking care of his mother who is very, very ill. He no longer feels as though he has goals in his life that are worth accomplishing. He has met the vixens and there is one in particular that he fantasizes about but that can never be Seraphina is a fox shifter who races bikes on the dirt track along with the dirt track dogs. she and her fellow Vixens have been under the protection of the dirt track dogs. They love racing and two of them have found their human mates, but they all have to be careful with the male foxes who want them and will do anything to get them. And this is Seraphina's problem. She really likes Rod, but he truly has never given her the time of day. This story was very touching especially all the scenes with Rod's mother and I really liked it. There were moments where I laughed and moments where I cried. There were also moments of extreme heat on the pages. I could not give it more than four stars because there were several errors and there seem to have been a formatting issue with a couple of pages. I would've hoped that someone could've checked that prior to publishing. In addition, I felt left hanging, luckily the story was really good and well-rounded but I still could give it four stars. I'm hoping the next one comes out soon and it doesn't leave us wondering.

I really liked this book! Rod had put himself through hell with the way his life had turned out. He didn't think he deserved to be happy. Sera wanted Rod but she was such a submissive that she didn't think it would ever happen. Bring in Maximus and things start moving faster.

I can't say how much I loved this book. PJ's books are always amazing but this one really spoke to me personally.I was really looking forward to this release and PJ did not disappoint. Hot Rod is so much more than he seems. He's a great friend and a loving son to a mom who's a kick ass fighter. She has MS and she fights every day. My bestie has MS and I know that she struggles sometimes and I hate how helpless we are when she is hurting and exhausted. I love that PJ showed how amazing these fighters are and some of the things they go through.Rod and Seraphima both have their own issues and struggles but they really come together to support each other and their chemistry is scorching hot!!!I laughed, I sobbed and felt all the emotions in between!! Sooo good!!!

What was this mess ?The “Hero” wasn’t really much of a hero hence the quotes , supposedly he spent most his time drinking,or mornings doing his job and then taking care of his Mom I guess,but in general this guy was one huge hot mess .... Honestly what did the heroine see in him, just because she felt drawn to him and he was sexy ?Seriously , ok first I’m sorry his mother had multiple sclerosis,I lost my Mom years ago to a long and seemingly mysterious illness and symptoms and even though she was in her late 70’s it hurt like hell, but that doesn’t explain why this idiot in self pity overdrive doesn’t think he can have a life or a future for himself ....Better job means more money and more money would help him take care of mother better, afford extra caregivers if needed or definitely more money is needed for medical bills and if the woman know what she getting into and wants to help out with his Mom and can/will give him love and support,that’s something very very needed, Why turn it away ?I just didn’t get Rod at all,he seemed to have this big huge pile of self loathing weighting him down,I kept thinking as I was forcing myself to keep skimming along , I thought I was going to find out some deep dark secret of something awful he’d done to explain his behavior, but you know what ? I didn’t find it... this man was one big annoying confusing pity party, and he see sawed and went back and forth poor Sera in this crazed I want you, your mine ! Pulling her to him, can’t have you ! Go away ! BS! To where I’m a)Sera wasn’t dizzy all the time and b)Rod didn’t have multiple personalities or something he went hot and cold soo much, I don’t think a teenage girl in a field of daisies could have kept up with his “I want her, I want her not” BS!Rod was all over the place,and honestly Sera deserved better than a man who is F’ing against the hood of his car almost literally one minute then during w/her to see his mother the next making her stay out in the car and going and tell his mother it just won’t work w/Sera... Why, Mom asks and basically all he says is because,of course Sera hears this...This man was weak and pathetic and more in need of a swift kick to his ... more than any thing else..shaking my head, I just don’t see how this loser was good for any body... and btw he was sooo Not. A. Dominant...And speaking of that, I know some submissives, irl and Sera just to me seemed beaten down from all the trauma and drama in her life and was needing to heal and be loved.... Sera was just a sweet young girl who needed to be loved and accepted and needed to heal... That’s all, not a dominant or a mess of a man like Rod, I say this having met women like her in real life and watched them get the control they needed and they were true submissives....Honestly this story didn’t make sense,yes the H is losing his best friend and mother to a horrendous disease ,but being a big self pitying mess and staying drunk and denying yourself love and a future isn’t the way anyone should cope,his mother was amazing and deserved better just like the h...Loved the mother loathed the son...And then there’s Maxim the seeming “bad guy” of our story,he doesn’t show til the very end and honestly for how he’s made out and a guy who honestly thinks Sera is supposed to be his mate and that he has a right to her, well he was really kinda reasonable about it... He seemed hurt by Sera rejection of him but honestly wanted to know what she wanted and mainly fought Rod at all because Sera seemed unsure ( good reason w/Rod’s back and forth mood swings) and Rod wanted to fight ...Sure we see him in the epilogue looking around still but heck as pathetic as Rod was I respected Maxim for caring ...This was a big mess a d to me somethings n3ver really made sense and the “bad guy”that has everyone soo worried through out the book, wasn’t really that bad and didn’t do anything ..Sooo yeah,....Can’t recommend and I don’t know why I bothered... wish I hadn’t ;(

Amazing story! I just loved the connection between Rod & Seraphina. Dirt Track Dogs has been my favorite and I think this book is at the top for me! For personal reasons Rod feels he needs to stay away from Seraphina. We get to see a deeper side of Rod in this book and his story draws you in as well as how likable Seraphina is. She's one of my favorite heroines! I actually read the book again after finishing the first time! The book had it all...laughs, tears, angst, love, sex. Definitely recommend! Cannot wait for the next one!

Another amazing story by P Jameson! The next instalment of DTD Second Lap does not disappoint. This story takes you on a journey through a huge range of emotions, laughter, anger, deep sadness and joy. Rod and Sera's story is deep and heartfelt.

Emotional roller coaster but loved every emotional minute of it...the kids were neglected but at least I managed to drag myself away enough to make them dinner.

What a great book! This one is a real heart wrencher!Rod Turner, aka 'Hot Rod' the local radio personality has a lot of baggage to wade through before he can accept Seraphina as his.Seraphina is a submissive fox shifter and can't stand up for herself, her fox just wants her to do what people tell her. She's on the run from an arranged pairing with a male fox she can't stand.
