These arrived in one piece with no manufacturing defects and the colors are true to the picture. [update after a few years: still look like new even after regular use and frequent dishwashing]To set expectations: Remember that the dimensions are OUTSIDE dimensions...so the volume of the inside is smaller. Filled to the very brim, they hold 1/4 c of liquid, so the usable liquid capacity is 2-3 tablespoons. Nuts or herbs or other solids could probably pile in the middle and get closer to 1/4 cup.After having these numerous years, I’m revising the review to give 5 stars—initially I knocked off a star because they were smaller than I expected (my problem!) and I thought they wouldn’t be practical (my mistake!)I’ve had these for YEARs now and I use them all the time! Yes, for premeasuring spices while cooking, but also to put a teabag in, rest a spoon, a snack portion of nuts to nibble at my desk now that I’m WFH, hold a couple chocolates that I have each evening. I’ve even used them in a brunch centerpiece filled with water to float small fresh flowers.They look really nice and eating any treat off a pretty dish makes it feel like more of a special treat—more than once, they have saved me from eating the better part of a bag of m&ms in one sitting.

I bought these to use for bread dipping bowls. Perfect size for what I needed. The colors are so beautiful and the bowl design is really nice.

These plates are so useful. Large enough to hold cornichons, olives, or nuts and small enough that they fit well on the table. They can be used together in the pattern shown or placed separate from each other. Great colors too.

These ceramic bowls are so cute and perfect for dipping! The thickness of the ceramic is sturdy but still light weight.

Bought these as a gift. One of them had what seemed like a paint flaw but the person that received them liked them very much. The colors are pretty. So overall pleased with purchase.

These are great for sauces and small things like nuts and candies. I also used them for a nice slice of chocolate for dessert.

This product is really cute, but it arrived with a ripped box and no packaging materials on two side of the plates. It is all smashed up and I cut myself. Will be returning.

These were smaller than I was expecting, however I have used them to mix face mask, hold small snacks, soak cotton rounds with toner, holding small swatches of makeup to mix, hold supplements, etc. They are great as decor, but work nicely for small projects so you don't have to dirty dishes.
