Powerfull enough to handle amplifier.
Sound is perfect. Speakers look nice and build quality is good. This powerfull JBL speakers, better sound when conected via amplifeir. This way the sound is really fantastic.There was no cutout and we spent lots of hours to figur how to cut the wall.

Crisp sound with decent bass
Im happy with em, 4 of the 6x9 s in my boat sound good . Blasting these may be hard on em but out of the box sound quality is really good . I am pleased this far with my purchase

Fantastic
Put 4 in a 21’ bay boat. No amplifier, loudest cleanest marine speakers on the market if you’re not looking to spend a fortune. No problem hearing them over the motor and wind.

not worth the money
Hardly used and only lasted 2 years no good for the money

Quality questionable
When I revived these speakers I didn’t even give them a try. They might sound great or they might be terrible. But when I took them out of the box the just seemed pretty cheap.

Quality sound that is affordable.
These sound great in my boat!! replaced some old JBL's that were starting to fail and distort. These have much better sound and I haven't put an amp to them yet.

The sound was not so great
I got this pair to replace a pair of jbl gloves 3 way and but did not like the sound. I end up installing back the jbl speakers

Did not last 1 season. Excellent sound
While these speakers sound phenomenal they didn’t last 1 season in south Florida. Cones became brittle within 3 months of sun exposure. The quality’s of sound became to diminish after 3 months until the cones finally cracked and fell apart after 5 months. These are outdoor marine speakers I would expect them to last more than 1 season on a boat. I would always rinse with fresh water after every boating session. Perhaps if speakers had covers to protect the cones from the sun while not In use they may of lasted longer. Tried looking for covers could not find any to fit this model.
