Mr. Brog Full Bent Tobacco Pipe - Model No: 27 Big Horn Mahogany - Pear Wood Roots - Hand Made

What a great pipe for the money. It smokes great. I remove the filter, just because I don't like them. But, it's simple to do. The draw is great. It looks and smokes fabulously. I will be buying a new Mr. Brog every month.

This is my 2nd Mr Brog pipe, I also own the Kentucky (which I also really enjoy) The BigHorn has a slightly narrower mouthpiece but is a very comfortable fit in both mouth and hand. Mr. Brog's customer service is excellent, I contacted with a question and received a response the same day and resolved my issue!

I thought the pipe was beautiful in wood grain color. This pipe for the money is well worth more. It is well designed an stays lit well.Easy to smoke.

Another good pipe, from Mr. Brog. It looks fine, it draws well with or without filter, The bowl does get quite, hot on this model, which is why I gave it 4 stars, other wise no complaints.

I ordered this as a replacement for my husband's pipe that was similar in shape and size, and it fits the bill perfectly. For the price I paid, my expectations were well met with this pipe and its description is accurate. The wood color matches the photos as well. Are there more finely crafted pipes to be found on Amazon and in specialty tobacco shops? Sure. But this one is sturdy and sufficient for someone with a casual smoking habit shopping on a tight budget.

A great pipe for a beginner and experienced pipe smoker alike!

I've had this pipe for over a year, I wanted to wait and see how it would hold up before writing a review. Well....it's held up nicely. These are good pipes, especially for the money. I have a lot of pipes that I've collected over the years some are expensive and some are not. I would rather spend money on good tobacco over expensive pipes. This pipe is medium in stature, it's just right to carry around as an all-dayer. The bowl is relatively deep for its size and holds a lot of tobacco. And burns pretty cool, I thought the thin walls of the bowl would burn on the hot side but it doesn't. Overall, I would buy an other one. This is as fine a pipe as any other, it may not be a briar, but you don't have to tell anyone it isn't. (For the snobs out there) Enjoy and smoke slowly.

Amazonさんではミスターブログかツゲさんのパイプを取り扱っていますが、その中でも比較的値段の安いこちらを購入しました。結果、フィルターが１つついているのはいいのですが吸い口が小さすぎました。思いっきり息を吸い込んでもマッチの日が煙草葉にいかない。吹くときはトランペットでも吹くかのようにしないと煙が上がらない。値段が値段ですし一度使用してしまいましたから、プライム会員ではありますが返品せず、自分で加工することにしました。まずマウスピースは問題ない作りでボウルからの煙道が小さすぎるのが原因だったので、ねじ切りなどを使って煙道を大きくしました。そうしましたらコーンパイプのようにすっと煙が入るようになり、やっと通常の喫煙が出来る程度の代物になりました。そして改めて喫煙してみると、確かに美味しい味はしました。が、これは私のミスかもしれませんが、煙が多く入ってくるようにはなったのですがなかなかクールスモーキングができず、すぐにボウルが熱くなります。また、煙の調整も難しく、タンパ―をかなりの頻度で使わないと火種の管理が難しいです。ナシの木なのでブライヤー？のカテゴリーに入るとは思うのですが、コーンパイプのようにタンパ―で押し込みながら吸わないと最後まで吸いきれず、灰をスプーンで出すと吸い残しがかなり出てきます。ちゃんと吸いきるには練習が必要です。見た目が綺麗なだけに、とても残念です。因みにパイプモールをマウスピースから突っ込んでも、煙道が小さいが故にボウルの底まで届きません。勿論フィルターを外した状態でです。見た目に拘らないのであれば、コーンパイプを３本買えるお値段ですのでそちらをお勧めします。上記しましたが、味としては悪くない味です。しかしコーンパイプでも吸い方１つで味は変わるので何とも言い難いところではあります。

東欧で人気No.1、国際的イベントでも利用されるということで、ここAmazonでも出品数が多い。その割にレビューゼロなので、人柱になる覚悟で（笑）購入。結果、当たり。実物は、掲載写真よりもっと鮮やかなワインレッドだった（個体差があるとのこと）ボウルサイズは上々。しかし軽い。同価格帯（私は3,500円で購入）の中ではベストチョイスだと思う。
