Wooden Tobacco Pipe, Self-Standing, Hand Carved of Briar Root, Metal cooling filter, Comes with Pouch, Boxed (Poker, Rust)

I was very excited to receive this in the mail. Although it looks great, there are several issues that have me very disappointed. First, the shipping took a really long time. When I did get it, I found a small crack in the lip of the mouth piece. Second, the dye or paint used on the outside of the bowl rubs off very easily, and almost immediately lost the sheen on the polished wood sections on the top and bottom of the bowl. The inside was either painted black or preburned as small black dust and particles came out when I used a paper towel to clean the inside.The overal quality feels rather poor and cheaply made. Yes, it does work, but certainly not my favorite in terms of quality.The first pic shows the broken mouth piece, the second is the overall product, and the third shows where paint and sheen has rubbed off moments after opening the package.

i absolutely love this pipe. This pipe was my first rusticated pipe and it has a beautiful finish on it. I love the fact that the top of the bowl is smooth and slightly rounded adding a nice contrast to the rusticated sides.The bowl is fairly large, and when filled all the way you can count on a great 45 min. - 1 hour smoke. The bit is pretty comfortable as well and I find the pipe easy to clinch although you're better off holding this pipe most of the time.It does come with a metal "filter" which I understand is the same filter used on most other Watson&GG pipes. I ended up removing that filter and found the pipe smokes much better without it.

Great pipe for the price! It was shipped promptly and arrived well-packaged. The metal filter can be easily removed, if that's your preference.I loaded it up with some Frog Morton and enjoyed a bowl with it. It has an easy, wide draw and doesn't burn too hot. I look forward to breaking it in and enjoying it for many years.

Nice pipe for sure, a little pricey but decent pokers are pricey.

It stays cool and doesnt burn the finger tips. Just what my husband wanted!!:))

Zero stars DO NOT BUY this pipe it's garbage. It's plastic it's not made out of briar. It gets hot to the touch very quickly and after a very short time smoking it it builds up condensation and gurgles like a kids water pipe. Total piece of junk I want my money back!!!
