741-428 Front Driver Left Side Power Window Regulator with Motor Assembly Compatible with 2004-2008 Ford F-150 Crew Standard Cab & 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT

Product is awesome, works great, and at a really good price! Bought one ~2012 for ~$130 from A1, now 5/2023 for $45+tax. The wires are 100% reversed upon receipt, and opening from new in-box. Test it before you install it! Meant up was down, and vice versa. Pretty easy to use some needle-nose pliers to push out the pins/leads, and then reverse them. Maybe not as tight after swapping the wires, but it's not gonna fall out or anything. If you're installing this yourself, it's not a problem to reverse the wires or to simply cut off the plastic polarity tabs with a pocket knife....up to you, I opted for the cleaner install, by swapping the wires. Again product is great! Motor is nice and fast. Highly recommend, esp. for the price!(Side note: You might want to keep your old plastic rail guides that the pull-wires slip into, as those are assuredly a planned-failure-item. Drop them in the door if you don't want to have to keep up with them.)

Polarity is reversed.Up is down and down is up.

I used this window regulator on my 2007 F150. It worked like the original as far as moving the window up and down. The only problem that I encountered was the polarity of the connector, it was reversed. Since I did not have tools to remove the connector pins, I had to cut and splice the wires.

This one fit as expected, however the wiring was backwards. I had to reverse the wires to get the window to go up or down when I pressed the appropriate button. simple pin extractor and don't break the wire where it is inserted into the connector. remember to test before putting the door back together.

This was a eazy replace for my older Ford truck. And yes the up down was in the right area. Worked how it should.We will find out for how long it will last.

Took about an hour to replace and was easy peasy and works great. I had read where some said the motor was opposite (down was up and up was down) and was prepared for that and fix that too but was not the case. Works exactly as described and works great. My truck is a 2005 F150 and works exactly as described. Great to have my window working again!
