I'm a Pro
I'm a hairstylist and years ago a client told me about WET brushes. I thought it was ridiculous and couldn't imagine a brush detangling wet hair. But fast forward, I sold them to every client I had and am still a strong advocate for it's powers. Less pull, less breakage and more smoothing. Hair is most fragile when it is wet so using this brush is better than a comb. The bristles bend with the stroke through your hair. I bought this one because I can't even get a professional pricing this good and it's actually for my own use. What I do know since I use them so often on clients is that you do have to replace them occasionally because the bristles start to push inside. But, I'm talking years. Haven't used the new one yet because it's hard to give up my pretty designed old one. But take my word for it...they work.

BUY THIS BRUSH
This brush has saved me. It was recommended by my hairdresser when I complained about how hard it was to brush my hair. In the shower it had become impossible (I would literally give myself a neck cramp pulling so hard to get through it), and before showering I was still ripping out a bunch of hairs with my old brush. I have thick wavy hair that goes nearly to the middle of my back (see my pic). I do love my hair but it is SO tangly. It swishes on my back during the day and creates dreadlocks. This brush has done three major things for me: first, it has taught me that if I'm pulling so hard on my hair that the bristles on this brush bend instead of going through my hair, I'm brushing it too hard. Second, it has taught me that I just can't brush my hair in the shower anymore, and I have made a habit of brushing it before every other shower. Finally, it has taught me to brush my hair in smaller chunks and work from the bottom (because otherwise the bristles just flex instead of going through the hair). As a result, I am pulling out FAR fewer hairs, my shower time/water usage has decreased, and I honestly think my hair is getting longer faster. It is truly remarkable what this brush has done for me. It also sounds weird to say, but it has rid me of what had become an almost OCD brushing ritual in the shower. I didn't feel like my hair felt right unless I could easily run the brush through all of my hair in the shower at least once to get it to a fully detangled wet state, forcing me to be increasingly aggressive and impatient with it as it got longer. That era is now over, and I have the Wet Brush to thank!

Best Brush Ever! Totally not fake, as long as it's a good listing
So to dispel these "fake" brush reviews, I feel it's important to write a review.I have purchased three Wet Brushes from Amazon. The first was black, and showed the normal logo on the handle. I purchased it in a listing for just the black color brush. The bristles are sturdy and the bristle tips feel high end. I have long, straight-ish, fine hair that tangles SO EASILY. I haven't used the brush while my hair is wet more than a couple times, but only because my hair feels so elasticy when wet.I lost the black Wet Brush, so I had to get another. I quickly went to re-order, and I chose (by accident) the "Various Colors" option. It wasn't part of Prime shipping, but shipping was free so I didn't think much of it.This brush came in (light blue) and I noticed the handle read- The "Wet" Brush, while the first brush I had didn't have quotes around the word wet. Also, the packaging was hella cheap. It looked like legit graphics, but the paper was slide behind a plastic bubble that didn't' match the brush size. I used it for a few weeks and I'd notice throughout the day that bristles had popped off into my ponytail and would fall to the ground around my desk. The bristle tips came off easily, and the bristles themselves would get pushed in to the cushion. ***This was clearly a fake, and nothing like the first one.I then found my first wet brush, used it instead until my fiance decided he liked it. So I ordered a third. This time, I chose a color again (Diva Silver) and made sure it was Amazon Prime shipped. This brush holds up to the first one. I have all 3 on my bathroom counter (the busted one is for the dog now). I'll take photos tonight so you can see the difference between real and fake brushes.TL;DR - the real Wet Brushes are the best brushes I've ever used, the fake one is obviously fake. In my three-brush-orders experience, the listings for brushes a) fulfilled by Amazon and b) for a specified color are legit
