I agree with what most positive reviewers are stating. It sheds a tiny bit as do all shag carpets but not excessively, yes you need to weigh down the edges and it does smell a bit for a few days. It's very silky and luxurious and gives a high impact for a fairly low price. The silver is beautiful; the colour varies as the nap lifts but is not metallic or cheap-looking, just lustrous. Because it's so large and HEAVY (I bought 10x14), I ordered a sample 2x3 to try it out and returned it for full refund when I ordered the correct size. Full size is even nicer than the sample. I don't think the large size needs an underpad as it doesn't slip around and is plush and the binding doesn't show on larger sizes but smaller sizes will definitely have issues on both counts. You do feel the plastic lumps that encase the tufts so 1/8" or 1/4" underpadding may help a bit if you walk barefoot on it. I suggest you wait and try it first before ordering underpadding as good ones are kind of expensive. As happy as I am with the carpet, I'm dismayed that 2 weeks later it's listed for over $150 less than I paid! I'm hoping I can get a price adjustment.

It is very nice just a bit thin. I can feel the base. I wish it felt better under foot. Overall it looks beautiful and lush . Definitely improved my bedroom appearance.

I could not be happier with this rug! I purchased the Silver color and it's pretty much as pictured. Med/dark gray one way, light gray/silver the other. It has a beautiful sheen and the texture is just so, so soft. As soon as we put it down, my ten year old did a snow angel on it! As with any area rug, when we unrolled it, it was curled at either end. A quick flip and reverse roll straightened it out in seconds. This rug on top of room carpeting so it has plenty of padding, but if you're putting this on a hard floor, definitely consider a pad underneath as the backing of this rug is rather thin (and I imagine it would slip around on a smooth surface.) It seems to be well made and the fibers (strings? I don't know what the technical term) seem very well attached to the backing. Awesome rug at a great price. Definitely recommend.

I just got this rug this morning and I'm thrilled! It is exactly as I expected. I was looking for a rug that would fit my rustic contemporary feel but would also make my living area feel cozy. It looks very high end, is very soft, and only very minimal curling on the one end. I expect it will be flattened out in a few days with weight on it. I was hesitant to pick a rug that was just one color, and this one looks either brown, gray or silver depending on the light. I also ran my shark vacuum over it on the carpet setting to fluff it up and experienced no shedding, nor did it get caught up in the vacuum brush. I'm extremely pleased. Looks very high end, and a great value.I do agree with the other buyers, it isn't very thick, so I just left my old rug underneath and that thickens it up nicely and provides slip prevention.

Very soft and silky.. I ordered the sable 8x10. regarding the texture: picture petting a cat (the way the fur feels).... It has a "silky smooth" feeling. Slightly slippery when wearing socks on it. The sable Color is very versatile. It will match brown, ivory black and grey furniture/decor for sure. There is No shedding or odor at all. I put the rug on top of my old area rug to make it feel more plush and so it won't slide or budge on my hardwood floors. Plush Factor: On a scale of 1-10 I'd say it's a 6. It's plush and feels amazing but it's not extreme plush. The texture give the illusion for sure. I use my dirt devil vacuum on it and it cleans it perfectly. I would not recommend using a heavy duty vacuum on it. I ordered this rug and the California shag. Love them both so much. I attached some pics with and without flash to really show you the texture. Bottom line: Definitely buy it. You will love it!! It looks like an expensive rug for sure.

This rug is very nice looking but turns out it is very slippery !! I just now opened it to use and I will not be able to use this whatever they made the rug with is dangerous to walk on !! I’m not sure how but this needs to be taken off the market and I’d like to have my money back .

Absolutely exactly what i was looking for and I couldn't be happier with this rug! I ordered the 3x5 foot in sable and it matches my decor perfectly. Its silky and dense and has a very sturdy woven fiber back...nothing cheap looking about it and for under $100, it's beyond worth it! I previously had a white area rug in a similar material but it was impossible to keep clean, especially having 2 cats that loved to puke on it. Lol The sable colour looks like a light taupe from a distance but the colour up close is a mix of dark chocolate and light beige as you can see in my photo. Great quality and highly recommended!

The quality is fantastic and I love the size! It looks so expensive too which is an added bonus when it was such good value for money!

Living room area and ordered a runner

Der dicke Teppich wirkt sehr gemütlich und hat durchaus schick, allerdings wäre Polyester nicht unbedingt das Material meiner Wahl gewesen. Tatsächlich ist er aber ganz angenehm unter den Füssen. Nach dem Auspacken fiel mir kein unangenehmer Geruch auf, so gesehen ist hier alles okay. Wer es flauschig mag und nicht auf Tierhaar steht, kann hier sicherlich glücklich werden.
