good flux pen
pen works great, i simply push the nib down on the surface next to the board im soldering and this gets the flux flowing i then draw onto the area im soldering and really helps get nice clean shiny joints

So you don't need flux with rosin core solder? Think again, this stuff makes small component soldering much easier, much faster. Wish I'd bought years ago.
