We travel a lot and this replacement wheel has and continues to work perfectly. It was easy to install and allowed us to keep the suitcase and utilize it for many, many trips.

The was a perfect fit for a favorite Samsonite overnight/laptop roller bag. You grow attached to something when you you've traveled with it for about ten years. The fact it was perfectly fine other than a broken wheel was very frustrating. Why buy another (lesser) bag for hundreds of dollars? There are plenty of videos available on how to change out wheels on luggage, and every bag is a little different. But its worth the effort. And the effort is in grinding off the axel spindle which is a rivet, not a screw-in type, and not meant to be replaced, in order to replace the wheel. Luggage manufacturers are clearly trying to make you buy a new bag for hundreds of dollars rather than simply replacing wheels for a fraction of the cost. Frankly, it should make consumers angry that luggage wheels are not replaceable without having to go through this trouble.

I like these rollers. They sure do look well made and roll real good. Make sure you know the correct diameter for your application. Also it might be a good idea to know the wheel width you are replacing, although this is usually not quite as important than the wheel diameter, unless you're a perfectionist (you know who you are). Then I would suggest getting a selection of these jewels in different sizes and widths for your satisfaction. The hardware that comes with these rollers is very good quality and should fit most applications. The problem will come removing the old wheels. Most luggage rollers with spindle shafts are swaged on (flattened on both ends to hold the wheel in place). One end of the old spindle shaft will need to be drilled to the appropriate size hole for the swaged end to be twisted off or fall off if you're good. Remember. Clockwise goes in, counterclockwise goes out. Enough

The wheels on my AmazonBasics laptop case were shot after 5 years and this came up when searching for a fix. Pretty much impossible to determine the size of the wheels being worn down and how am I supposed to measure the axle length buried inside plastic supports. So I ordered the kit with multiple lengths as I couldn't afford to remove the old ones until I had new ones to put on. So with the help of a hacksaw we got er done. Rides like new now. I'm only sad I waited this long to change it. Such a world of difference. It was only $1 more for the kit with both axle sizes and I wanted to get the correct one installed. Been using it a couple weeks now and couldn't be happier. The case was still in good shape so I hated the idea of buying a new one just for the wheels.

I bought these wheels to replace the wheels on my suitcases. They're easy to replace if you have tools. Once installed my suitcase worked much more smoothly than it did with the original wheels. Cheaper than a new suitcase.

I had an older Samsonite suitcase to repair a broken wheel on. I searched the internet everywhere for a compatible roller blade wheel and nothing seemed to work. I eventually ordered this because the dimensions were almost exactly what I needed even though I only needed the wheels and not the other stuff.Installation was moderately difficult only because my bag had rivets that I had to drill out and replace with screws and nuts. The parts fit well with some slight shimming with the provided washers. If your luggage has screws already, then this would be a very simple fix.However, once I had the wheels on, I noticed a wobble sound when rolling. After picking up the wheel and rotating the wheels on their axis, I found that both wheels had a wobble that seems to be built into the wheel itself. This is just a product of cheep manufacturing. They also just don't seem like the same quality as the roller blade wheels I had originally hoped to use (but were too big). The wheels also don't seem to spin as easily as the old wheels indicating that the bearings are likely of lesser quality.That being said, the wheels work for now. They were the only wheels I could find that fit. But I am confident that the wheels will break again given the wobble and the lesser quality. Based on this, I am more inclined to retire this bag before that happens so that I don't have to repair again in a couple of years with substandard parts.

Good quality wheels. Replaced old broken wheels on my Samsonite travel bag. These wheels are much better quality wheels. Fits perfect.
