I have to admit I was expecting firmer bristles, but I have found this brush to do well for general wheel cleaning, but may be too soft for anything caked on. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is because some of the bristles have splayed out at the edges. Overall I like the brush and would recommend it.

These are very awesome for the price, they work perfectly, definitely 5 star performance! A nitpick though is that the surface wheel brush has fibers that flick off when dry, but what can you expect when flagging tips of the bristles

Even after going through the car wash, the tires and the hubcaps used to look filthy. There are just too many hard to reach spots in there, it seems. The brushes helped me clean those spots quickly. They seem to be not too stiff and not too soft. I love they came as a duo cuz I needed both to get the job done, both on my van and my husband’s car. And they were so easy to clean: I just hosed them both down and shook off the excess water before setting them down to dry. Solid product. Would buy again.

After using this for a few months, I started noticing fine scratches on my wheels which are black from the factory. It's stiff enough to scrub the tires ONLY. But it will scratch the clear coating off your wheels over time.

For the price this is a very good quality Wheel & Tire / Detailing brush. Works as quite well to clean my wheels and I did not experience any thistles and/or material defects so far!
