Use six drops in my two cats food bowl. They like it and readily eat their cat food. Had tried a different brand and they did not like it as well. Will buy this again if I do not have an issue with shipping like I did this time.

I can't see that it really does much for my diarrhea.

Our collie has had stomach issues since we adopted him five years ago. We have tried many things, with the help of our vet, to solve the problem. He is on a daily dose of Prilosec, which has helped greatly, but once one of his flare ups starts, it is really hard to stop it... usually resulting in a visit to the vet for a cocktail of Rxs. This happens about every other month. It starts with vomiting and no appetite, but if we can get him to eat and keep it down, the progression stops. A flare up started this week and for the first time in three years, we were able to stop the progression, very quickly, with a dose of slippery elm. We were stunned. Because of his issues, he gets three smaller meals spread out from morning to before bed. We dosed him three times throughout the course of a day before his meals (just to be sure) and he ate his food voraciously all day. The next morning, with no dose of slippery elm, he is happily eating and has his normal energy. If we have this kind of success next time, I'm buying a case of this stuff!UPDATE 3/7/2017 Since my last review, we have used this several times with the same fantastic results. I just can't believe how well it work for our dog. We mentioned it to the vet during his annual check up and she said, "if it works, keep using it..." she couldn't see any downside to it. This morning, the gurgling started with no interest in food. One dose and 30 minutes later, he as asking for breakfast, which he ate with pleasure. If you have a dog with stomach problems, this stuff is definitely worth a try!

I bought this for my cat. He had fatty liver disease and had a feeding tube placed in this throat. Well as luck would have it, the vet didn't properly seat the feeding tube. It was placed to far down and entered the cat's stomach. He had the feeding tube for a month and all that time the stomach acid was splashing up into his esophagus. So when the tube was removed the cat still wouldn't eat. I force fed him and after a week he started eating. About 3 weeks later, he relapsed. I had prescription meds that he absolutely hated. I read about slippery elm and tried it. The cat was a new cat in 24 hours. I gave him a half tsp in the morning and one at night. He's been eating. He's been active and seems genuinely happy.

Does not work nearly as good as the pill / capsules i have used,... I guess if you are getting it for free for giving a 5 star review it works better,.. I paid 15 bucks for it, and like i said the pill works 100 time better, and is far less money to. I was hoping this was going to be as good as the reviews said but no way, very weak results from the liquid dropper slippery elm....go with the capsules 400 mlg..

I was impressed by the benefits one can get from taking Slippery Elm. It was good centuries ago and seems to still be today.
