Vivaplex, 12, 1 oz, Round, Opal, White, Glass Jars, with Inner Liners and white Lids

I am over the moon to discover these jars in opal glass. The opal glass or milk glass used to be the cosmetic industry standard. Avon, oil of olay and others used to bottle their creams in delightful milk glass jars. Today, they are hard to find. So much nicer than the white plastic jars or your run of the mill clear glass. Opaque and thick enough to keep out light, respecting the integrity of the contents. This glass also just looks clean, pristine and inviting. I haven't filled them with my skin care recipes but doing so today. I just wish this was the industry standard today and that this supplier had a range of sizes. These are one ounce but would like a 1.5 or 2 ounce as well.The only draw back of this delivery was that the packaging was flimsy and the box arrived tattered. Luckily, these jars are thick enough that they did not break. They should however package them with more care. I am a happy camper however. Ah, opal glass, milk glass cosmetic jars!

Love these for holding balms. Great quality and price. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. They are always consistent, and packaged very well. They look awesome too. I've read that some have issue with the lid not sealing or twisting on crooked; sometimes it's the lid lining that just needs to be pushed into place. If it's not pushed into place, the lid won't sit right, but once it's pushed in it sits perfectly. This goes for any of the vivaplex jars. If you're into the look of white glass jars, you cannot go wrong with these. I love them.

Just what I needed. Fabulous hand feel/ quality. Packaged well. Will purchase again.

Will take me the rest of my life for this old lady to use all of them but they work great!

Jars arrived as described. Box was a little beat up and was about to split open. The jars are thick, solid glass. The "inner liners" are useless. They are too small in diameter so don't seal at all. If you hold the jar upside down they fall out. Those went straight to the garbage. Screw-on lids have a thin foam seal which so far is air-tight. I tested one under water for about 15 minutes - no air bubbles no water leaked into the jar.When lid is on there is very little space between the edge of the lid and side of the jar. Over-tightening might split the side of the lid so don't over-tighten. These are jar lids, not lug nuts.Overall great value for the cost.
