As long as you have the correct tools (I bought the Skil 6445-02 7.0-Amp 120-volt 1/2-Inch Hammer Drill AND the Bosch HCBG21 Blue Granite Hammer Drill Bit Carbide Tip 5/8 x 10 x 12) it is pretty easy to put up. you will need some muscle to drill the holes, but once they are in, it's very sturdy and will definitely ease your mind a little more. The fence is not a replacement for supervision; however, it really eases my contstant worry of my 18 month old falling in my in ground pool.Since our pool is between our house and garage, we actually attached the end pieces of the fence to the garage and house. We used the latch piece that is included with the fence and drilled a hook into the each wall. This makes the fence very tight and assists in support.I'm very happy with my purchase and I received it super fast. I will purchase from this vendor again.

Not bad at all. Installed on wood deck so it was about a 5 hour install. I had to carefully measure every single hole because I had to miss screw heads, joints between boards, connector plates under the deck, nails holding joists under the deck, etc, etc. Installed 40' of it and ended up running op top of deck boards and making sure every insert was drilled perfectly into the top of a 2x12 joist!!!!! That was tough. Aluminum poles are nice but the plastic inserts are cheap and I doubt they will last, but they did not break. Watch the angle that you drill when taking corners and also remember to slightly reduce your distance between holes on a corner. If this was concrete and you could drill anywhere then this would install in 20 minutes. No way the kids are getting through this. Not bad for $400.

We love this fence! We bought several panels last summer and decided to expand the fence out this season. The panels were easy to install, although we did have to go and buy an appropriately sized drill bit for a few dollars. Since we moved some of our old panels around we had to also order new protective plastic inserts for the new holes as we couldn't remove/transfer the old ones. It was no problem and the company sent them the same day for less than $4 each. I recommend mapping out your fence plan as it's a pain to move them when you can't transfer the plastic reinforcements. The fence itself is tall, flexible and sturdy. My 40 lb son has flung himself onto the fence many, many, many times and it's held up great and he just bounces off. We love it.

Super easy to install and use. Fence comes out of the ground with ease for when you want to have the pool open like for a pool party, but yet not so easy so that the kids cant pull it out of the ground. I feel it is a strong and durable product that I can trust, if you install this correctly you will feel the same way :-)Update: I have had this for a few years now and it still looks and functions like it did when I first installed it (pretty good being it is up all year round since I live in FL). Also a tip when putting the fence up or trying to remove it spray a bit of WD-40 where it goes into the ground it makes the job 10x easier.

This product is just Ok. We had to install it upon request from our insurance company on a rental property. It is easy to install but not very sturdy. It seems to meet the safety requirements but the mesh is fabric and even with the metal connectors secure some sections are still pretty shaky.

I installed a Eskot Pool Fence system 16 years ago which served me well. As I looked for replacement fence I found this GLI system on Amazon Prime.I was concerned if the GLI fence would fit into my installation. With some detective work and speaking with GLI industries I decided to purchase one section of replacement fence.I received the new fence and it worked great... the deck installations holes were the same diameter as well as the spacing between poles.At this point I am going to order the balance of the required fencing so that I can replace all the fencing.Thanks Amazon and your vendors.
