Introduction to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology explains nanotechnology to an audience that does not necessarily have a scientific background. It covers all aspects, including the new areas of biomedical applications and the use of nanotechnology to probe the "quantum vacuum." After discussing the present state of the art in nanotechnology, the book makes estimates of where these technologies are going and what will be possible in the future. Review: Only buy this book if you have intermediate understanding toward Nano-tech - I've had this book for 2 months now and I like this book because it's about nano-tech and well described of how atoms perform at the nano level. However, I also don't like this book because the author writes in a strong scientific vocabulary. After all this book is suppose to be a "Introduction" not a advance course in nano-tech. I'm a entrepreneur in this industry and new so if you're getting started in this nano-tech industry i would recommend you just learn from Youtube. ---------------------------------- DISLIKES -Difficult to understand if your a beginner and even though this book is an introductory. -the title of this book should be titled "Advanced" instead of "Introduction" LIKES -The author has provided pictures to illustrate diagrams on every page. -small compact size. This is not a huge thick college text book. -affordable/reasonable price ---------------------------------- Overall I rate this book 4 stars. any question simply reply below! Review: Good book to introducction a first contact to nanoscience. - This book has the quality be a very useful to introduction of nanoscience in the case of undergraduate students. The principal themes have introduced in this book in very intuitive and formal (some case).

fantastic introduction
This book is a great introduction to the fascinating subject of nano technology. It is not too technical while advance d reading boxes are a good source for further investigation for science students
