I feel this item is better suited for bigger dogs. If you add paste to the inside, it needs quite a strong bite to squeeze it out. I just put paste on the bristles and seems to work fine. Dont let your dog use it as a chew toy because it will get destroyed. I let her chew it until the paste is mostly gone and put it away.

My dog tore this apart like it was made out of cotton candy. Durability aside, the hole to put the dog toothpaste in is too small which means the toothpaste doesn’t disburse through the bone, which is the whole point of this item.

Fine for small dogs. This dog is 7 pounds and worked on it for an hour. She cleaned it out pretty well. It’s better than a Kong and I felt good about her teeth. I don’t feel like I ever get in there good enough with a brush, so adding this is nice.

My pooch just licked and licked it. Not once did she use her teeth. The rubber smaller parts are too easy to bite off and swallow.
