The crystals that appear on my baby’s butt after using these seem to burn her. Does anyone know what they are made out of? I’m super disappointed.

The Crystals are the absorbent gel (absorbent polyner) just like you find in all baby diapers. It sounds like your baby is having a sensitivity to the absorbent gel. I am sorry you are having an issue.

Do these contain phalates?

Very well could. If you’re concerned about that I would stick to using cloth diapers only. We used these when we moved and were waiting for our cloth diapers. They help, but as with most disposable diapers / boosters there is some chemicals and exposure to these things. You’d have to stick with cloth or a more natural diaper like Andy Pandy or Eco.

What is the powder substance coming out of them?

From my understanding, the powder/crystal substance that comes off the liner is the compound they put into the liner to help it absorb the liquid overnight.

What size diapers do these fit in?
