Cute but cliff hanger.
I did enjoy the story that this book held but it did end on a slight cliff hanger. The story was good but not enough for me to continue on for only bits and pieces of a story each book. Hunter has been jaded most of his life. He has a position open for a lady who will fill the roles of just more than his assistant. He is engaged but we don't hear about it much. I'm sure this is discussed more in detail in the other books but it is lightly touched on 2 or 3 times in this book. Olivia is a recent college grad who hasn't been able to find a job. When her friend tells her about Hunter's opening, she is reluctant to take and with good reason. As soon as the interview between these two is over, you already have an idea of how the book and series will end. Overall, this was a quick short story and would definitely recommend it.

I like the book but ....
Let me say this author didn't start this trend of writing a book in several books. But I am ending my reading of multiple sequels here and now. I enjoyed the book, and while it is pretty predictable the direction it is heading, I think the journey getting there would be enjoyable. But by the time I got to the end of the journey I would have paid more to read this book than I would the books of some of the best-selling authors. I wish I hadn't read it. The desire to see what lies ahead is strong. But I'll give the rest of the story a miss. It is a great read, though.

Book did end
This is ridiculous...there is no ending....you have to buy another book...This was like copying fifty shades only a little different...

If you like alpha male billionaire romances this is for you
This is very much in the spirit of fifty shades of grey, but without all of the awkward sex and rape connotations.First off this passes the bechdel test. Rare in romances like this. Second the heroine isn't a doormat. She's got personality and sass and I like her. Hunter is a very typical damaged poor little rich boy with trust and intimacy issues but the author hangs a lampshade on it.Honestly I also loved the side characters. Bert and Brenda are Faboo. The reason this gets knocked down a star is the formatting. The starts of some chapters are really odd like one letter on a page and then continued on the next. Also every instance of texting/instant messaging is inconsistently formatted and the fonts move all over. For someone who has vision problems like me it meant headaches and dizziness sine the font won't often cut off mid word.If the formatting was fixed it would get five stars.

If I had read the whole blurb I wouldn’t have touched this story
Cliffhangers are a big rip off and milking dysfunction is a cheat. The first book is free because you’re forced to purchase three more “Books” to see how it ends. Not going to happen. I enjoyed it enough I’d continue reading if they were available thru kindle unlimited. The humor was a big plus for me, but toss in the h being an idiot it was just not good enough. That, plus the “books” (chapters) are way overpriced.

Too good. Too addictive. Can I have my Hunter now? Please.
I don't remember reading a book this fast but being addicted to it this much too. The writing was what I was most blown away with. I don't know how or why, since I mean I've read hundreds of books, there was something about this authors writing style that graced every ounce of my attention. From the get go, I was sucked in.The story on its own is intriguing enough. Sexy CEO meets down to earth girl with an attitude to much. Perfect right? But nope. The author has to go on and be one of the best writers I've come across in a while. I don't know how to explain it to even begin to do this justice, but just know, I wish I knew this author existed a very long time ago. Stunning. Unique. Everything that you want in a book - THIS has it, and then some..The dialogue is so crisp BUT still charged with so much emotion. I get Hunter was right next to my ear, because I kid you not (and call me crazy but I could give two flying birds) I got goosebumps every time he talked. Every. Bloody. Time. It's not normal right?! I kept putting my phone down, staring off into space aka my dog glaring at me silently begging for a walk, and then back to my phone/kindle, wondering how this book is in my hands. I mean.. how?! How can I fall I love with the writing so deeply? And then the banter between Hunter and Olivia! Jesus. I felt like I was blushing.. not at the sexy moments (those were also ooofffff *fans self*) but just in general, I felt like an unwelcome fly on the wall that wouldn't walk away.I didn't skip one sentence, one word, one breath. This story is as stunning as its writing. It was to the point but gave enough information to make you connect and feel compassion, pain, heartbreak, laugh, cry and everything else in between. It was sexy as sin but also so bloody cute. Olivia could be my best friend if fiction didn't get in the way.Addictive but never boring. It almost felt natural?! Like I was living in this world, just sitting next to these characters like a real life movie. Ok, that sentence made more sense before I typed it out. LolUgh. I could talk all day.. and I probably will.. until I get my hands on book two!' That teaser except - *insert curse words Amazon doesnt allow*Thank you for creating this masterpiece that words will never do it justice!! I will only dream to aspire for be a writer like you - and ever more so, dream of meeting a man like Hunter *cough cough*Read this story...Please ;)(if you read the book, you'll get this..)<3

Pretty average
Nothing special here. Typical sex scenes, a plot line that is engaging but nothing really different. I liked the characters but they are typical too. The biggest problem is the writing, though other reviewers say it is good. The author uses wrong words - like progression when she means procession. The funniest was the use of condensation when she meant condescension! I agree that the cliff hanging ending is a cheap shot - making readers buy the next book to find out what happens. I don't care enough to do that. I can assume the next book has the same angst and misunderstandings as the first and will eventually resolve itself into a happy ending for Olivia and Hunter. I just don't want to read it. There are so many good writers and books, I don't want to pay for poor quality. I only read this one because it was free.

Refreshing difference to the usual
I really enjoyed this. Deserved the full five stars I rarely give. Five stars for only the best I find.I've read a lot of these office, CEO-Billionaire-Poor-Employee books. I've read a lot of romances and most of them follow the same path - Girl cannot resist the mighty, powerful, hotter than sin, dominant, alpha, Boss. Meanwhile, Boss gets exactly what he wants when he wants. Always Girl can't resist and Boss teases Girl until she's a quivering mess of need and begging before Boss delivers. This book, this was different. The Boss is an actual life-like male that can't hold back his desires. I loved that about this story! Yes she is still a drooling mess lol and she also doesn't want to give in but can't say no either. This story is so realistic and still adorable in every sense. I loved it. Onto part two. I only hope it stays as good throughout!

Yes please....
I like this book, though to be honest it reminded me of a certain famous trilogy which followed by a film sometimes eg...unfashionable over qualified skint lead lady who falls in the office of a hot sexy closed of CEO who takes a shine to her, the offering of a 'personal' contract etc etc HOWEVER I still enjoyed the book because although you have the fore mentioned clichés, Olivia isn't a sheep! She answers back, she has a deep sense of humour and she's actually quite a strong person. There's none of the weird kinky pain stuff (no offence to anyone who likes that!) but has plenty of passion. The other characters eg Bert , Brenda and Pat all have their own personalities, they banter with Olivia and although they are loyal to Hunter, they can still admit that he can be a knob!So aside all that, I like it and I will most def be downloading the next book! Would I recommend this series? - Yes!

Don’t like being left hanging
I like books that are a series when they are about a group of people. I don’t mind when a series is about 2 people when the books are standalone but I was disappointed with this one as I thought it ended abruptly. I found the characters interesting but one minute they were there and then they were gone. If the intention was to get me to get the other 3 books to find out the ending it will be a long wait.

Yes Please
OMG! My bookwhore has been totally & utterly in ecstasy reading this very hot sexy story. Yes please, takes the whole billionaire boss story to another level. With a hint (not copy) of Pretty Woman (showing my age), Willow has created emotionally damaged Hunter, the billionaire who has buried his heart so deep it needs Olivia, young fresh, full of goodness & enviable outlook on life - unimpressed by wealth, it's what's inside that counts. With the help of Bert & Brenda, Olivia has made her impression just by being her true self

Good bok
I have this book five stars because it has a story line that kept it interesting. There is also a back story that will lure the reader to follow subsequent books in the series
