I've never liked the taste
I've always had an issue with whey protein, I've never liked the taste, could never digest it properly, and it never had the desired effects for me. I also recently found out that I cannot handle dairy products in general. This protein powder is dairy free and gluten free - which is a big plus in a house that has a plethora of food sensitivities. It's affordable, easy to prepare, and unlike whey products - it actually taste good. My mom makes an awesome protein smoothie for everyone every morning (bananas, blueberries, yogurt, and this protein powder). The simple fact that we ALL love it and reach for it right after our coffee says a lot. It is gritty but I find in the smoothie it doesn't bother me at all. Both my mom and I suffer from Hypoglycemia, so this protein boost in the morning really helps us get an awesome start. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to avoid whey products but still wanting that protein boost in a convenient form. I will say one of the most considerate things this company did was make sample packets. Who wants to spend money on something they may or may not like, we're not talking $5 or $6 here. Most places won't return products like this once they've been opened either. To have a sample pack (granted that wasn't cheap either but certainly affordable, around $3) was a lifesaver. We were able to test the product before committing and we all appreciated that very much. The sample and first jar was purchased at a local grocery store but I purchased another two jars when I saw the sale on Amazon.

Great protein!!
Amazing product, it does not have any taste whatsoever. It is a bit grainy, but nothing like the other protein powders I have tried. After a while it settles in the bottom of the cup so you must shake it to have a evenly smooth drink. The original flavor goes with everything, I have also tried Chocolate and Vanilla. And it is hard to decide, but like mixing the chocolate one with coffee like a mocha is excellent. One thing though, Chocolate is to sweet for my taste. And coffee make up for it. But then I must say, I do not have a sweet Thoth. Vanilla is the one I drink the most, I like to mix it with Matcha Powdered Green Tea, and with a teaspoon of Maca powder. That makes a healthy energy/protein shake for breakfast. Great for girls with PCOS since is low carb and contains Stevia as a sweetener.

Read this honest down to earth NOT FAKE review if you are still deciding...
I am a 26 year old female who in the past used whey protein as a supplement. After reading Dr. Wu's book ''Feed your face'' it came to my concern that Whey Protein can act as a ''natural'' steroid for women and also it is derived from dairy (you know dairy is bad for your skin), so no wonder I used to get pimples so bad!. Whey protein is great though, but maybe it was designed for men. So that's when I decided to switch to something dairy-free, but still with some flavor and not very high in sodium and sugar. I looked the pea protein but no matter what brand they had huge amounts of sodium per serving... huge! (you can compare, if you dont believe me) so I looked at rice protein instead and found this brand to have good ingredients so I decided to give it a shot. I always use almond milk for my shakes, and usually add half a banana to it. Guess what? The flavour is great. It's not disgusting, and it's not very sweet. A little bit brownish but that's just the color of the powder, whatever! I have noticed a great improvement in my skin after a month of going dairy free. So try it... almond milk + 1/2 banana + little cinammon. It tastes great! A GREAT OPTION FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO HAVE A HEALTHIER LIFE...

Great Alternative For People With Allergies!
Growing Naturals Brown Rice Protein powder is a wonderful alternative protein powder for those of us plagued with allergies to beans, soy and dairy. This powder mixes well with any liquid and fruit, but does tend to have a very sweet taste if used as directed (one scoop to 6-12 oz. liquid) At this rate they say there are 15 servings in this one pound container. I will be using it at half this rate for 30 servings. This still provides 12 grams of protein to add to my smoothies. This protein powder contains all of both the essential and non essential amino acids. It has a nice smooth consistency . The listed ingredients are as follows: organic, sprouted, whole grain brown rice protein isolate, organic, sprouted, whole grain brown rice syrup solids, organic flavor (not from soy, corn or gluten), organic guar gum and gum arabic, organic stevia, sea salt and sunflower oil.

Yuk
I had very high hopes for this protein powder, as I am looking for something without soy to mix with my veggie-fruit smoothies to give me the extra protein I need. Most of the reviews for this one said it mixed well and tasted good. I didn't find either to be the case. I took one sip of one smoothie and threw the rest out, as well as the remaining powder. The brown color that it turned my drink might have negatively influenced me, too, but I would have overlooked the color if the taste had been even remotely palatable. I am sorry, but the cheap, store brand of vanilla whey protein powder tastes better. Honey and/or a banana might have helped the taste, but the texture was so grainy and gritty, I suspect I would have tossed it all out anyway.

4.5 stars. I used to use soya protein as my powder of choice, but after my body became sensitive to soya I had to find an alternative. I tried lots of different vegan friendly protein powders, and each and every one was vile. Losing hope, I stumbled across the Growing Naturals Original Rice Protein Powder, and was so happy that I found one I could half-enjoy. I then decided to try the Vanilla Blast, craving sweetness in my shakes, and was SO pleased. I now use one scoop of Vanilla Blast and one scoop of Original for my protein shakes. Vanilla Blast is extremely sweet (which I love) but if you don't have a sweet tooth this might not be for you. I personally recommend using the 1:1 Original and Vanilla Blast ratio, as I think two scoops of Vanilla Blast would be too sweet, even for me. Another huge plus is that Growing Naturals protein powders have BCCA, which I was having to buy separately with other powders. I've rated this 4.5 stars rather than 5 due to the grainy consistency. It's much better than others I've tried, but the texture takes some getting used to. Overall I'm so happy that I found Growing Naturals. My hunt for sufficient vegan protein is over!

Great taste, no chalky texture and impressed by the high protein content (24g per serving). I've mixed this in smoothies as well as had it alone blended with almond milk and a pinch of cinnamon. It was drinkable with water, but not overly tasty. No nasty ingredients either, all natural! Definitely recommend! If anyone could let me know what the exact serving size should be that would be great, it says 1 scoop.. is that level to the top of the plastic scoop, or is it to the line visible on the scoop? Thanks

I found this to have a better flavour and texture than the Pulsin brand, which is the only other type I've tried. Still not a perfect flavour, and would rather it didn't have sunflower oil (last item on ingredients list, so hopefully it's a negligible amount just to smooth the powder). I only take it a couple of times a week, for either a smoothie or pancakes, and it works well for both. It's also cheaper than other 'superior' sprouted raw products (Perfect Fit / Sunwarrior) for those of us in the UK.
