Athletico Sling Bag - Crossbody Backpack for Pickleball, Tennis, Racketball, and Travel for Men and Women

At the young age of 74+, my one month pickleball adventure came to a crashing end due to rebellious knees. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But, this review is about the pack, not my knees. The pack did everything it was supposed to do. It carried: two paddles; a couple balls; light jacket or windbreaker; water bottle; and secure pockets for wallet, keys and cell phone. It did everything it was supposed to do, did it well, and was cost effective. You can’t go wrong with the Atletico Sling Bag.

I was at our indoor pickleball gym and seeing the bags for over $100. I went home to Amazon and ordered this blue Athletico Sling bag and I am delighted. Excellent quality, zippers are high quality, four diffent compartments. Highly recommend.

Pros: Love the bright pink color, color is accurate & just what I was looking for! Easily holds 6 balls in large front pocket & 2 or more paddles in larger 2nd front pocket. Lightly padded shoulder strap (but other bags for less $ have thicker padding). Love that it has 3 smaller pockets for “stuff” like keys, phone & top front pocket is lined with a soft material. The water bottle holder is great but will only accommodate a16 oz. water bottle. Cons: The top front lined small pocket is too small to hold even a standard iPhone 13! The pocket on the back is huge; as wide as the bag! But the zipper opening is only 5 1/2” so tuff to get stuff in & out. Makes no sense! Why isn’t the zipper wider? My last issue is that the bag is missing a hook to hang the it onto a fence. There is a loop at the top of the bag so I’ll make it work by attaching a carabiner, However, competitor’s bags that cost less have hooks. Over all, a decent bag for the price but has some serious issues.

I have owned many tennis bags over the years but this is the most lightweight considering how much gear it holds. Tote bags are cumbersome and I never used both straps with a backpack, so this sling is perfect for one shoulder! It easily holds a tennis racket, two water bottles, tennis balls, keys, wallet, sunscreen, snack, tissues, hand sanitizer and a bag of incidentals such as band aids. The colors are limited and wasn't sure I would like the pink, but I do. Also love the built-in hook for hanging the bag on the fence at the park. I haven't had it long but it seems pretty durable. If it ever wears out, I will definitely get another!

Excellent I fit three paddles, balls and a towel plus my cell phone and water bottle. Looks great and is comfortable to carry for left or right arm.

I started playing Pickleball and was using a backpack to carry my accessories. I ordered this bag and am so happy that I changed to a bag made especially for racquets. It is lightweight and there is plenty of room and pockets for all my personal stuff as well. It is well constructed and allows me to organize for ease of use. I had to change to a thinner water bottle to fit the mesh holder, but that wasn’t a problem. I’m a petite woman and am happy the bag doesn’t overwhelm me. I ordered the blue one and it is a nice color appropriate for men or women. I would definitely recommend it.

I like the look, the function and the value.

We like this bag. It seems to be well made, has lots of zippered pockets, the shoulder strap is nicely padded, and it holds everything you need for tennis or pickleball. I like that it has an external mesh pouch for a bottle of water too. Two Pickleball paddles fit nicely inside and it zips completely. Tennis racquet handles will stick out a bit but the zipper stayed up securely around the handle without any slippage, which I might have expected. It's a little tight to put two tennis racquets- one is okay- but two pickleball paddles fit just fine. I think we will order another bag so we have more than enough room for each of our goodies regardless of which sport we're enjoying that day plus that second beverage holder. Bottom line: We really like it. Get one per person- don't try and share one.

Great bag perfect size for tennis items.

Have wanted a sling bag for my games. Bag arrived in good order and had use twice on my games day. Paddle is of normal length type, elongated might be tough to accommodate. Is a good compact bag if you don't have too much to carry. Simple bag, nothing to shout about. Value for money, I supposed
