Nice big display. I chose this thermometer because of the different colors in the display. It works great. Blue light = cold, Green = at the correct temperature, Red = over temperature. Note that you can set how rare to well done only for Beef, Lamb.and Veal. Hamburger Pork, Turkey, Chicken and Fish only have well done as selectable. Instant read. The magnet on the back allows me to stick it to the refrigerator and it’s always ready to use.

The thermometer itself was okay. However, the set of instructions in English that came with it were incomplete, unclear and difficult to understand, which was frustrating.

I have used this for months now and love it. For the price, I wasn’t sure it was going to be as good as my more expensive one that I was replacing. So far it has been very accurate and it is easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

Love the ability to get instant reads on pretty much anything we cook. So why the but...two things. Did require some recalibration and wish they had given better directions on how to do it. Not hard and works great now that it's recalibrated. Second, be careful when washing the probe. If pulled too hard, it comes a part from the handle and not the easiest thing to get it back in. Nevertheless, still use it everyday and happy with it.

Only used it 3x. On 3rd time it won't turn on.

I ordered this thermometer about 2-3 months ago. From day one it was finicky about turning on so I changed out batteries and still no luck. I dealt with it since it wasn’t that big of a deal. I just had to wiggle the probe to get it to work. After about a month it wouldn’t turn on after shutting it off. Hoping there is a warranty I can follow up on since it’s just a paperweight now.

This is just what I needed to to stop burning meats. I like how the probe is tiny. My old thermo had a thick probe that allowed the juices to escape after testing.

This is an excellent food (not just for meat) thermometer! I was using one that had a needle dial which is very inaccurate. There are a lot of good functions:1) There are 8 different meat types you can monitor2) 4 different Taste modes- from rare to well-done3) It reads -22 degrees F to 572 degrees F4) It can read in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit5) three Colors to alert you. Green light means target temperature is reached, Red means over done. Light allows you to BBQ at night6) It comes with a chart of Reference Temperatures advised by U.S. Department of Agriculture7) a voice function for those of us who have “old eyes”I tried it on 2 different chicken dishes. You turn the probe out and stick it into the thickest part of meat. The digital reading starts. It turns green when target temperature is met. It was SO EASY to use! Cleanup was easy. The probe can be washed with warm water and soap. The rest should be wiped with a wipe. I used a cleaning wipe for sanitary reasons. It comes with a little clip on stand to hold the thermometer. Two AAA batteries not included.I recommend this product. No more guessing game on if my meat is cooked. I feel good knowing that people eating my food are indeed eating cooked food.
