Almond Flour Recipes: Homemade Breads, Snacks and Sweets

Missing an ingredient in at least one recipe
I was very interested in this cookbook because I bake with almond flour whenever possible. I'm always looking for new almond flour recipes. I was especially interested in the graham cracker recipe. Unfortunately, the list of ingredients is missing the syrup called for in the mixing/baking instructions. I don't know what syrup was used or how much. The recipe obviously needs more liquid of some kind. If I wanted to guess what ingredients are needed, I wouldn't have paid for a cookbook. I can't find a way to contact the author, either, to ask about the syrup. The author should have had a detail-oriented proofreader read this cookbook before putting this on the market.

Simply delicious!
I had no idea that you could cook with almond flour! I also learned that it is more moist than wheat flour which causes inflammation so it makes the most delicious desserts. That's what this book is all about, desserts! I made the Irish Bread recipe and was delighted. The bread was moist and sweet tasting and so light and fluffy!. There is a recipe for Graham Crackers here also. So easy! My families favorite though is the PB&J cookies. With the almond flour base and the Coconut sugar, it is doubly good for you and triple delicious!

I am satisfied with this cook book
I am satisfied with this cook book. It is as described and I knew from the price that it was paperback and probably did not have hundreds of recipes in it. The ones I have tried were good and there are more I am going to try. It only has about 40 recipes in it, so it shouldn't take me long to try them all.

Satisfy your sweet tooth
These are the foods that make life worthwhile. So many delicious breads (pina colada bread!), snacks, and deserts. I will likely make all of these at some point since there doesn't seem to be a bad recipe in the whole book. If you love a great snack once in a while, I whole-heartedly recommend this book.

Not up to what they say...
This book doesn't give you any details on calories or carbs or anything else. I am on a very strict carb diet and need to start using Almond Flour/Coconut flour and wanted a book to give me recipes along with fat/carbs/protein etc. This book doesn't even give a recipe for just plain bread. I am not interested in adding anything to the recipe other than ingredients to make a loaf of healthy bread.

It’s not very proffesional.
Likes:- quite a few recipes I’ve not tried before and they all seem really simple.Dislikes:- it’s as if a 10 year old has written it. There are so many mistakes in it, it’s almost a joke. I feel like it’s a book thatThe brownies may have put together for a charity fundraiser. For example, in the method of one of the recipes it says, now add the butter. However there is no butter in the ingredients list. A similar mistake can be found on almost every page.If the author employed a proof reader, she should get her money back. Sorry to be so frank.I will however try some of the recipes anyway.

Value book, basic and really written for the American market
The book had lovely recipes but some of the ingredients are hard to track down. Also it's all American cup measurement and farenheit temp. I did notice that some cooking times are missing and one method states add honey when it is actually maple syrup in the recipe. Will need to experiment with the recipes
