Overall, this product is great. When mixed with water it produces a blue-colour: similar to that of windex. However it doesn't have a strong odour, which is good!But this is something important! This quat sanitiser is the same type used in food service and healthcare settings. I have the pleasure of working in both as a barista and a lab tech.In the kitchen, the concentration is around 200-400ppm (1-2 tablets in 1 gallon) which is enough to kill food-borne illness causing bacteria within a minute of contact time. This is called SANITISING: it reduced the amount of bacteria and viruses but does NOT KILL ALL. Contact time is usually a minute or so for sanitising with this kind of product.In the lab, we are working with more sensitive fluids such as blood and bacteria samples, so disinfecting is a must. Disinfecting kills ALL bacteria and viruses but this requires a longer contact time of up to 10 minutes. Our go to is a quat solution (similar to the active ingredient in this, it's just premixed) that has a much higher ppm, usually 1000-2500ppm!At home, I did the math and calculated that you can use 1-2 of these tablets in 16oz of water for a ppm of between 1600 - 3200.My way is just to mix 1 and a half tablets of the product in 16oz of warm water. Shake it vigorously to dissolve. Spray on the surface and let it sit for a maximum of 10 minutes (No less than 3 mins) and wipe away with a clean and damp rag. Make sure you don't spray it on areas with prepared or open food such as a fruit basket or a cake stand. Move them before spraying down.In all, this product is awesome!

I first saw this product and excellent reviews online at Sams Club. Went immediately to Amazon before it became the #1 disappearing product during this time of extra precautions! Received my product two days earlier than promised. Unlike some others, my jar was not open, and I had no spilled, broken tablets. It was manufactured the latter part of March. I emailed the company to ask about the date, and they answered in less than 5 minutes! Outstanding customer service! The date on bottle is the manufacturing date, and the product is good for 10 years. Impressive! Do be careful when removing the cotton packing inside the bottle as it creates some dust in the air, so be aware of that. That's common with this type of tablet as they are not coated (they need to dissolve). I, for one, will be a lot more comfortable having this product in my home during the COVID-19 virus and afterwards, too. We can all use a good disinfectant in our home at any point for illness, accidents, etc. The bottle takes up very little room, and all you need to activate it is a gallon of water. How easy can it get to keep a good disinfectant in your home? Stay safe!

This works really well. For it to be an effective disinfectant, use 4 tablets per gallon. Anything less would be considered a sanitizer and not a disinfectant. 4 tablets equals 800ppm of Quaternary Ammonium Chloride, and it should work against covid-19. I’m no expert, so if you do decide to try this, try with your own risk. I have done a lot of research since it’s so hard to find disinfectants for quite some time. After spraying it on the surface, let it sit for 1 minute before wiping. If you look at the ingredients, it’s almost the same active ingredients as Clorox wipes (Quaternary Ammonium Chloride) and Clorox wipes has been proven to kill covid-19 virus. This is just a lot cheaper and I hope this review helped you.

I have to hand-wash my dishes and really miss the sanitizing action of a dishwasher. These tablets really do the trick, leave no residue, have no odor, and are very affordable. My one note is they are slow to dissolve, even in warm water, so I have to prepare the sanitizing solution well-ahead of washing time. Bonus: I soak my sponge in the solution between washes to kill kitchen germs!

I used quaternary ammonium chloride products 30 years ago to kill mildew on plants, and mold in my shower. Then, the source disappeared. I recently saw where the CDC rated it alongside isopropanol and hydrogen peroxide as 'effective' on coronavirus, so I bought some. My wife thought it would not work because it did not stink. Dissolve a couple of tablets in a gallon of water (it's not Alka-Seltzer so be patient) and spray. Good enough for me. We use it in the shower for walls, floor. Kitchen counters get sprayed. Car door handles and steering wheels also. Not acidic. Adds to my Covid-19 UV-C attack. Another bullet in my six-gun.

I have been using it to sterilize all of the boxes we receive from e-Bay, Amazon, UPS, FedEx, Post office, etc. I mix it up a milk carton(1 gallon) and just add 2 tablets steramine, shake and place into a spray bottle. great for kitchen countertops and as a rinse for any fruit, vegatables, canned goods, ect that I bring home from the grocery store. I even use it to clean my 3-D printed face mask after each outing! I have given tablets to my neighbor, my sister and a few freinds and they all think it is great!
