Not as solid as I hoped. But does work for a job which is adjusting focal distance for pulse laser. Simplify my life a lot. but I would not use for large objects. Geometry is not very solid. If horizontal precision is not what you after - it does vertical adjustments very well.

This little lift was just what I needed for my plumbing project. I used this lift to place my new garbage disposal in place so that I could line it up to lock it in place! The left was easy to use, functionality was straight forward, and I did not need to use much force to get it to work. My unit was made of high-quality materials, and it was stable, never giving way under the weight of the disposal. This lift is a quality product for the price point. I give my little lift five stars!

I needed a small table top stainless steel lift platform to use alongside my hydrosol distiller. This product is perfect. It's sturdy, heavy and has silicon covers on the bottom, so it doesn't move around. The height is easily adjustable and the platform is level. I don't actually intend to place anything heavy on it. Just small glass containers smaller than 6" x 6" to capture the liquid from the distiller. Great for my small projector instead of using stacks of books. I'm very happy with this item!

When you have weight on this lab jack while raising it, it has a tendency to stick on one of the sliding tracks, so one half raises while the other doesn't until it slips free. This causes the top of the jack to tilt sideways a bit, so I usually have to straighten it with one hand while raising it with the other. So I'd call it "usable" but not easy to use. I wouldn't recommend using this to raise/lower an oil bath, for fear of it sloshing. I use it to raise/lower a medium sized hot plate/stirrer as well as a heating mantle, and it works fine for that. It's fine for budget applications if you use it carefully.

This is a perfect tool to use for installing a garbage disposal. Many brands require the disposer to be lowered in order to replace the gasket. That part is easy, but reinstall is at an awkward angle and you're holding the heavy unit up while trying to engage the twist on flange. With this lab jack, it's so much easier!

I originally purchased this as a device to lift a 20-ish pound object into position so it can be bolted into place. Although not my intended use this time, it would work great for hoisting a replacement garbage disposal into position until the flange can be attached. If you have ever tried this, you know the jack would be a godsend. I've also used it as an adjustable height work stand for supporting long materials at the ends beyond my miter saw. It arrived a little over-greased but that was easy enough to fix. For heavy-duty work, it would be nice if the top plate was just a little thicker, as I feel it would make for a much more secure product.

I am a scientist so I am familiar with lab jacks. I needed something I could put my laptop on to raise the camera to a flattering angle. Piles of books were not cutting it. This does and it is very reasonably priced. HIghly recommended as an adjustable, durable, strong platform for whatever you might want to put on it.

I use it to set the height on my Router Table as the Router does not have a screw adjustment for setting height

Item works great but it did arrive damaged in one corner which mr u bent and looked like it was not done n transistor as the packaging had no damage
