Well made. My bag WILL fit a soccer ball at the top. A volleyball will fall right in. No way a youth BBall. This IS NOT the pack for books! The drawstring closure is far better than expected. But placing shoes at the bottom— size 10 at best for level. The bag is somewhat smaller than I'm used to.More details: Favorably impressed as opening the bag. It felt...solid. I only checked the ball size after reading other reviews & my gym has spares. Placing shoes at bottom is something for slightly larger bags (I'm a 10.5E) My 10.5 (US) fit ok, 10 slightly tight, & 11 at an angle.The drawstring was quite a surprise. No recoil pop back open as expected! The drawstring isn't fat shoelace, but kind of a hollow rope. —more comfy than expected—See picture. Also, it's comfortable enough for short 1-2mile hikes to the gym—I'm not sure of 5mi. The drawstring lays well on my broader shoulders helping that work.Biggest downside is the "multimedia" felt liner. I usually keep my shampoo/conditioner bottles in here. They always leak after awhile. 5.25 diskettes predate the term "multimedia." And I wouldn't want outer stresses & impacts on a phablet (which would hafta be face in). Who puts a phablet in the pack anyway? Glasses in a smaller compartment maybe.The main compartment IS NOT VENTED at all (said it was in the description). This is a drawback for swimmers & profusely sweating weight folks. But the thick lining looks pretty aerosol disinfectant compatible....The side pockets are what I dub 2Litre bottle pockets & are mostly vented. But they also are contained by the backside of that felt which is bound to mold/mildew. *I can use the side pockets for my suit & goggles* but I dislike the thought of dirty socks & sweaty T's.Finally there's no back handle strap which I use to hang bag in locker or sometimes just to lug around.All this to say suggested improvements would be:leave out felt lining or make a smaller inner pocket. This is actually my main complaint.Add back vent to the main compartment.Add a safety reflector stripe somewhere on the back (for hiking uses).Add a simple strap-rope hangar middle top of bag.But as it is it's pretty good (I just sent back a pack that had Mesh on the bottom!) Definitely a great value & overall favorably impressed. I can and do usually use my pack for 1-2mile "hikes" to gyms.For price, definitely recommend. Would recommend to most intermittent gym persons. Soccer Moms & Dads will find it useful. I probably won't buy again but that's considering my specific uses....Five star

Bought this one as a gift for my wife since on a recent trip she commented how she liked mine. I love mine. Recently used it at Disney World. Was big enough to keep a hoodie and souvenirs in it, while still small enough to out in storage compartments on rides. I also use it for going to the gym. Great bag, durable, and stylish. Love the dual mesh water pockets and the zipped pocket has lots of room. Great value for the price!

Very sturdy but still a great size to grab and go for a few extra gym items. I love that you can put your water bottle in the side mesh pocket, and keys in the mini pocket-easy to find! I use this daily and believe it will last much longer than those cheaper thinner sack packs, highly recommend for the price-great value!

It washed up nice when I put it in washer - the variety of colors is quite excellent. It is durable - I got it for when I went on vacation - men aren't supposed to carry purses right? I could walk around Vegas and keep items in the bag - my money was hidden elsewhere so if someone grabbed it or I pulled a dumb one a few years back and set it down and forgot I wouldn't be out lots of money - the thieves would just have a comb, some wet wipes, pen and a note pad.

This bag is very nice and well made. It took a little bit to figure out how to keep the strings even so it was not lopsided when I closed and put it on.It's really stif but I think after I wash it a couple of times it should soften up a little.I got this because of the front zipper and the I thought it only ha one bottle holder but I didn't see it one on each side.Over all it is a nice bag. Cheap but I did see it at TJ Maxx for a few $$ cheaper

These are great, we'll made and good as a small rucksack to take on a light day hike. The side and front pocket makes this extra useful over a typical similar rucksack. Bought 6, one for each family member

This is wonderful! The bag itself is made of thicker, more sturdy fabric than the generic ones. The straps/rope is thicker, so it's more comfortable and durable, and stays closed. Easy to clean, can fit a tablet, headphones and a few small toys with no issues. We use for sports tournaments and trips. Love them!
