This worked. He reads more serious books, but those he enjoys. Review: Hysterical! I even read them myself! - I actually picked up the first book in the Timmy Failure series from our local library. In an effort to get my 3rd grader reading more, I checked out several first books from a variety different series to see if one would grab him. I kept hearing him chuckle and poked my head into his room to see that out of about 8 different options, it was Timmy Failure that ended up being a big hit! He was constantly cracking up and then had his 10 year old sister read it, who equally enjoyed it. Wanting to be part of the laughter, I too read it and found it quite funny. Author Stephan Pastis introduces great vocabulary through these books which is something my family loves! Learning new big words and then dropping them casually into conversation is like a sport to us! Buffoonish, charcuterie, and mendacity are just a few of the many great words my kids have picked up from this series. During quarantine when we can't get to the library, I thought I would pick up the complete series from desertcart so my kids could finish reading all the books and then reread them anytime they need a good laugh! The boxed set is they way to go too, such a great value over purchasing them separately! Highly recommend!

Good books for reluctant readers
My son has unfortunately become a "reluctant reader." About the only things he'll read are Dogman and Bad Guys. I found these on a list of similar books and thought I'd try them. He loves them! I don't even have to remind him to read his 20 minutes every day. Highly recommend!

My grandson loved the series.
This series was requested by my 8 year old grandson. He loves to read and this gift made him really happy and if he's happy then we're happy.

Perfect box set
My eight year old loves this series and read the whole set in one week, she has reread them all since then! The box set sits perfectly on her bookcase and looks so neat.

Timmy is not a Failure
I bought these books for my elementary school library. They are very popular. Any book that gets students reading is a plus!

Great read for kids
My daughter loves these books. I was worried to find another series she would like as much as the dork diaries and this fit the bill!

Love this set!
My 3rd grade son had never heard of this series. I got the set for Christmas after reading some reviews. He loves Timmy Failure! Great series for those who like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants books.

My stepson loves to read but it’s hard to find books for his age group. He lived these and read them several times. He said that they are one of his favorites!

Esquina de la caja dañada. Pero la saga está muy chistosa si eres alguien q facilmente se ríe la vas a disfrutar junto con tus hijos. Ya que la historia es sana y un poco infantil pero muy graciosa
