Revlon ColorSilk Beautiful Permanent Color, [04] Ultra Light Natural Blonde 1 ea

I bought 3 boxes of this to fade some pink (Splat hair dye) that was in my hair for 4 months even washing it everyday (can't trust splat.) I wanted to take the pink out to add a blue color in it. Well I used one box and it took out some of the pink but left behind a brownish color so I used some Manic Panic bleach and took out most of the pink. After that I used deep treatments for a couple days and used a toning shampoo which took out some more pink and turned some strands white. Than again, I used another box of this Revlon Ultra light natural blonde and I only had one pink strand left. I added in some more toning shampoo and the results were getting there and almost all of it was white but a little blotch. I deep conditioned yet again and used the last box and the pink turned very very very light to where you couldn't tell amd the toner just took it right out whitening it more. After all, I finally dyed my hair blue the way I wanted and it came out amazing. I know I used 5 products (Revlon ultra blonde,toner, manic panic bleach, deep conditioner and splat aqua rush hair dye)to get the results I wanted but I believe if it weren't for this product it may have been impossible.

I had done some highlights to my hair on my own when I ordered this product. I'm a natural brunette and my roots were really bad. I ordered this hoping it would lighten it up. It did make it a golden blonde which was pretty. Being as my hair is naturally a dark brown, I believe this color would work great if your natural hair color is dirty blonde or lighter. It does leave your hair so soft and silky just like the name says.

Very good but will darken your hair and make roots ginger...for me I did my roots medium ash blonde then put this on top with a 30 developer instead of the one in the box and it came out amazing...product works well for price

I absolutely love this color. Of course, I had my hair bleached months before using this. I originally started out as a medium ash blonde but decided I wanted it lighter and I love this color. It does fade a bit quick for me. After two washes it did. But I would recommend this to someone wanting to dye there hair light blonde.

I have used Revlon Colorsilk for many, many years. In fact, it was the first hair colour I used as a teenager. I have bought it both here & abroad. This shade I have been using for approximately 4 years, always being able to find it online somewhere in the UK until fairly recently. Then it was difficult to find for awhile, so I tried some other brands & was pleasantly surprised to see it on Amazon once again. The price had increased & when I received the parcel it had come from the USA. I have a combination of grey & dark blonde hair & live in fear of any shade tending toward platinum, pearl or ash. Alas, this is exactly what occured this time. Therefore, I can only surmise they have tinkered with the formula somewhat, as it certainly never happened previously.So, any one else who does not want to look even more 'grey' then they already are, take care. I know all hair is not the same, but caution is never a bad thing. I had another brand available, which I applied the next day bringing my hair back to the soft, neutral, natural blonde shade I prefer.November 2014. I believe I now know the answer to my question above. The answer is NO, Revlon have not tinkered with the formula but my natural hair colour has lightened to a grey/white in places. Because of this, the hair shaft has no pigment for the dye to work on, therefore the dye just adheres to the outer shaft. Sorry about the lack of science there, but I am unable to find the article where I read of this happening. It seems a fairly common problem with home dyes, just because a hairdresser/colourist has more knowledge & understanding of how dyes etc. work. Conversely though, some women say a blonde colour does not take at all & I too have experienced that. Seems it would be a good idea to read all of the reviews. If possible buy the colours with the ? standard English grading, e.g.9G - light blonde, gold, 10A - extra light blonde, ash etc.

I decided to try this after having so many failed attempts at other top name hair colours.I've been bleaching my hair for years and decided to give the bleach a rest and see if I could achieve the blonde with just a 'blonde' hair dye, well after all of them turning my hair a nasty grey colour I was about to give up but then did some more research on blonde dyes and decided to give it one more go after reading good reviews on this. Well I have to say I was surprised with the out come of it, it did cover up my grey roots and also give a lift to my previous blonde colour. After five weeks I thought I would try it again and it was fine and lifted my roots even more and I had achieved the colour I was after all along, so yeah I would recommend this product. Only downside is that you cant buy it in this country and have to keep ordering it, but then its not too bad as at least I've now found a product that works.....Oh forgot to mention, don't worry about the colour of the dye when its on your head as that really isn't the colour result, mine went sort of purple/browny but it really does wash out to be blonde ( for me anyway).

This item was not the right consistency after looking on the YouTube channel for application this was thick solution, what I had was like neutraliser running down my face okay it did not damage my hair but it has washed off within a week it is not the real product.

I have been using this colour by Revlon for years now and love it. I never experience any scalp irritation and I tend to leave it on for about an hour and 1/4 when I just do my roots as I find it takes much better then. I have a mixture of darkish and grey hairs now and it works really well for me. Leaves hair nice and shiny and feels great. Highly recommend this product.

Very happy, my hair colour arrived very quickly, so well done to Blush Cosmetics for such prompt service.I'm looking gorgeous again thanks to Revlon Colorsilk! (joke!) I really like using Revlon hair colours, but for some reason they are hard to find in the UK.I would most certainly buy from Blush Cosmetics again.
