Old World ChristmasAcorn Glass Blown Ornament for Christmas Tree

Old World Christmas ornaments are my favorite & as such I have collected many over the years. The acorn holds a special meaning for my son this year so I can't wait for him to see it on the tree!The only reason I took the time to review is that I wanted to say how impressed I am with the way this ornament was packaged for shipping. It was wrapped in tissue paper & placed inside the traditional Old World Christmas box but then box was double layered with bubble wrap! I'm not sure if the seller always does this but the extra care did not escape me. Thank you so much....nice job!

Old World Christmas makes such special ornaments! Such quality! They have shine and glitter, but yet understated, and add a special touch to your Christmas tree. And they look like they could be new or a throwback to a by-gone time. I always put a lot of thought into buying my son and his wife a special, meaningful ornament for their tree each Christmas. I'd bought them an oak tree for their yard last year to commemorate their 30th birthdays. This acorn made a perfect gift. OWC is my preferred source of these gifts. I love them!

Great! I ordered this cute little acorn for my mum for a holiday present and I am pleased with what I was sent! The ornament was delicately made and as far as I can tell, authentic! It was well packaged (tissue and bubblewrap) and came in its original box (which I was very excited about, Old World's boxes are sooo cute!). Overall great purchase and even better price, the only con was that the ornament was a bit smaller than expected. (But then again, I never read size specifications!) Hope my mum loves this new addition to her collection! Happy Holidays!

The photo DOES NOT do justice to this beautiful ornament! It is heavy and very well made - I have paid more for less! The entire top looks like it is jeweled. These will be Thanksgiving dinner place holders for friends and family and they will make an exquisive addition! One review had commented there were not two in the package, but if you read the description, it says there is only one! Do not hesitate to buy this lovely little acorn!

Absolutely just what I wanted

Beautiful little ornament. Really does remind you of an old Christmas. I purchased it to use as the hidden ornament on the tree.After the family decorated the tree, I announced the game. To find the golden acorn and win the prize. (Which was a golden box filled with homemade rum balls, sugar cookies, almond crescents and reindeer gingerbread cookies.). Everyone swarmed the tree to find the golden acorn!

Beautiful ornament. I bought several. It’s about 1-1/4 inch long (not including the hook portion). A bit larger than a real acorn. The tag that comes with the ornament labels it as “Small Acorn”. It also comes in a larger size - I prefer the smaller one,
