Tasty Snack or Light Meal and Light on Mercury
Cans are rather small, that is, under 4 ounces each. Surprisingly easy to open. Packed in a delicious olive oil. No mayonnaise needed to snack on this fish. I frequently grab a can off my pantry shelf for an impromptu snack without bread or other condiments. Occasionally add a sprinkle of garlic and onion plus some celery salt. Mild smell. Somewhat expensive. Olive oil keeps it moist. It comes across as a quality product.

Delicious with a long shelf life
High quality tuna at a great price compared to other sellers. Great alone or mixed for a great sandwich. Came quickly.

Some of the best tuna around
This is so head and shoulder above most. It is worth the extra money. I had tuna like this in Portugal and it just so much better than what you get at the store. And forget the comparison to water packed. That stuff taste like cardboard. There is a fair amount of oil in this. I usually pour a bunch off. Have not figured a use for it yet. But in a salad or on a sandwich, it is great. For a real treat try putting some on a plain pizza. I know, sounds weird, but is delicious.

A terrific tuna upgrade
Delicious high end tuna at a price lower than any area market. Well packed for shipping. I'll never eat tuna from a pouch again.

Good quality, but I prefer Wild Planet
I decided to give this a try after it was highly recommended by a friend. I usually buy Wild Planet Wild Albacore Tuna, No Salt Added because I really like the quality and taste, and I prefer tuna without any added water or oil. This is actually the first tuna that I can remember ever having that came packed in oil. At first, I found it to be drier than the Wild Planet, even though the Wild Planet tuna has nothing added - all of the juice in the can comes from the tuna itself. After having three or four cans of this, though, I got used to the texture of it and quite like it. The tuna in these cans are solid slabs and not chunks or flakes. I tried it once without draining the oil, and I won't do that again. After draining off the oil, it really doesn't taste oily at all to me (I thought it would, but it doesn't). I do wish that they offered a version that was packed without added water or oil, and maybe they do and I just haven't found it. It just seems like such a waste to drain off the olive oil, and I tried using it for dipping with bread, but the oil used in these cans tastes weak (despite the added tuna flavor) compared to the olive oil that I usually use. Overall, I think it's a good tuna, but I like Wild Planet better - and it's a lot less expensive.

Best tuna on the market
This is the best tuna on the market. Tastes great and the olive oil makes it very moist.

This is the best canned tuna anywhere in the world. It's hard to find in stores.

Absolutely outstanding quality
I gotta admit, I would give 6 stars if I could, maybe the 3rd time in over 26+ years of my Amazon membership. The quality is astounding! Excellent flavor, nicely packaged. Outstanding supplement to a diet plan. I make a salad with this every night, and the juice alone is so incredible, you DO NOT need to add salad dressing. Low calorie, great substance. Of course, check with your doctor always, but for me, down 15 pounds in 16 days, and absolutely incredible salads. Maybe I was more afraid to give such an honest review that would drive the price higher. I do highly recommend checking out other products this company manufacturers.
