A Walk in the Tundra (Biomes of North America)

I'm working on making Background paintings for an 2D animation that takes place in tundra. Great photos, along with great information about the Tundra and it's ecosystem. All I could ask for is maybe larger pictures or a CD-rom to compliment book. Good price too

I recently purchased this book to aide in a science course my son is taking, and I am totally impressed. This book has beautiful illustrations and photos and is filled with helpful facts and knowledge. The information is presented in a way that is both exciting and easy for the student to understand, and made his course a lot more fun than just a text book would have been. When you can look at your child and see that they are excited about what they are learning, that has to be the sign of an excellent book. I highly recommend this one.

This is a wonderful book.

I used this book for homeschooling grades kindergarten to gr. 4, it has great pictures and is an awesome source for teaching children about the tundra (Id say it would be good short read all elementary grades👍
