junk
Seemed like a good deal, when I got it & put the batteries in and the led came on so I thought it would work. That was until I tried it in a new upper barrel assy. Put it in the camber I got a circle not a dot. I had in the house at 25’ I had a red circle about 10 - 12" big on the wall. When I say circle, it is not a complete circle and it is not one line, multiple. Completely useless even at close range site-in, not way you would see anything at a legit site-in distance. I think it is so out of alignment that the laser is reflecting off the bore and not projecting a dot. Junk

great product.
I was bore sighing an AR 15 with a 7.5 inch barrel. Using the bore sight at home, the windage was adjusted. At the range with no further adjustment, it was hitting a 6 inch bulls eye with iron sights, at 50 yards. Not bad for being in my 70s, with glasses on. I was and still am impressed. This is a a super product. Highly recommended. Dave

It's simple, so why doesn't it work?
Just put in the batteries and it should light up. Drop dead simple, but the laser refuses to stay on. I would get it started, then put it in the chamber, and bingo, laser stops working. Jiggle it a bit, make sure the cap is tight, the laser might fire up for a few seconds, then stop.Cheaply made. From China. The packaging says Laser Bore Sight on the front, but on the back are instructions for setting up a laser for Crossbow. What? The instructions are so small you need a jewelers loop to read them. This reminds me of the cheapo pen lasers you get at the dollar store. Certainly not a precision instrument. Certainly not a keeper.

Sure wanted to be good...
When first received tested it to make sure it worked. It seemed to work at home. Seemed solid construction and good fitting. Few weeks later, took it to the range to help a friend sight in a weapon... nothing. I tried both sets of batteries, nothing (later found both sets of batteries were somewhat corroded, so used another set). With our batteries barely worked for a minute or so. Just happens to be just outside time for returns. Sure wish this had worked.

misaligned....useless waste of money
loaded the batteries, laser came on bright and strong, loaded it into the chamber of my rifle and found out the laser is not properly aligned and the beam is bouncing off the inside of my rifle barrel and is therefore completely useless for the intended use. It is a fit for the 223 but its instructions are for, and it is described as, a sighter for a bow or crossbow. I have these for other rifles and they all work great but this one is no good!

Never got it to work like advertised
All the batteries that came with sight were dead. The bottom end was warped a tad so that flaw wouldn't let it sit in the chamber evenly.

good enough to get on BIG paper
If you're expecting to pop this in your chamber, line up, and shoot dimes at 100... You're sadly mistaken. The laser is off center. If you put it in, site in, take it out, and reinsert it at 90 degrees it'll be different. Doesn't fit the chamber snugly either, wiggle the gun hard and you'll throw it off too. It'll get you on at 50 so you aren't just shooting the breeze. That's about it.

Quit working
Only worked once then it became so misaligned that it would not shine the laser though the barrel but was reflecting off the rifling instead. Another piece of Chinese made crap.
