Just received my pair and had to try them out. Not sure if I should give a two or three star...you make the call: I like the design and the way it snugs and wraps around...good feature when riding. But here's the catch...I needed the 1.0 for distance vision and if you are looking straight ahead...the focal area is good. However; where the lens starts to curve just the slightest...it becomes very blurry...so no real peripheral vision at all. I will contact the seller to see if this is just the design...or whether I received non-conforming product. Either way...for the price...they aren't bad. I'm just afraid when riding or driving they may become more of a hazard...would need to try them out.Just tried them out and was very disappointed...I won't be able to use these when driving as peripheral vision is blurry and distracting. But the company did offer to replace them...so good service.

Have you ever seen yourself in a curved mirror at an amusement park? Well now you get to see what everyone and everything else looks like in those mirrors through these sunglasses. I wanted to like these, but didn't. In the past I've owned a few pairs of full spectrum reader sunglasses which garbled and distorded my vision and these are certainly no exception. The magnification is not evenly distributed throughout the lens and in my opinion, could prove DANGEROUS if wearing these while driving as it confuses your depth perception. It would be more safe to not wear these in any situation where clear vision is necessary. I wear regular readers 95% of the time so I am familiar with what readers should be...these are not. I gave two stars only because they are sturdily built.

There is way tooo much distortion going on due to the curved lens. I bought two pairs based on pretty good reviews. I won't buy another after they wear out (and I'm hard on my sunglasses so they will wear out before too long). I buy cheap plastic readers that are sunglasses, and I tried out these because they block more of the sun from the sides. I can so just okay through the blur, which gets progressive more distorted as you look toward the corners. I am still hunting to find a good pair of readers that aren't bifocal....

I've had great experiences with my Bikershade purchases. This product is the first to fall short. It's a bit odd in that the view through the lenses are distorted on the outer edges. Straight on view is fine. So instead of a quick eye glance left or right, I have to turn my head to avoid distortion. Just weird.

I have a 1.0 in one eye and 1.2 in another and use these, as 1.0 for motorcycle. I am about 3 months in, wear them every day, treat them with care and find them to be clearer than Raybans, better fit, great construction and almost perfect for a bike. I have a ST with power windshield, they are perfect there but on my British twin, full wind in the face, only OK. Optical quality is excellent and this is a premium manufacturer.

This is the second pair I’ve bought. The first pair are still fine, I just bought these as a backup pair.I’ve used these reading sunglasses everywhere where sunglasses are needed. Mostly driving my car and golfing or just outdoor use.

I'm using these sunglasses on my sailboat at the lake. The first number in my prescription for glasses is 1.5, which is for "far" vision, but I don't like to wear my prescription bifocals while sailing. These 1.50 "readers" are perfect. No distortion in the lens, and just the right darkness. I've just ordered a second pair.

Went to an eye appointment and the doc said I should get me a pair of driving sunglasses with +1.00. Shopped on Amazon and found these and am I glad I did. They're great sunglasses with full lens readers.

They are great glasses, excellent for driving and reading in the sunlight.
