No motion detect recording- instructions useless.
DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. I liked the idea of simplicity, no WI FI, just record when it sees motion and I can look at the videos later. WRONG! Third hidden Chinese Made Camera I have tried here on Amazon. As with the two others the instructions are not understandable. I cannot get this camera to record with motion detect mode. Same as all the others, it is junk. This will be the third camera I will return. The instructions say: Motion Detection Recording Mode: Step 1; Insert the memory card into the slot. Step 2; Switch On/Off (back) to ON posittion then press front button for 3 seconds, red light on, camera in standby mode. Step 3; Short Press Button 2 times. red light flash three times and then off. camera start motion detection recording mode. NOTE: THE LIGHT DOES NOT FLASH THREE TIMES! Step 4: Press Button 1 time again, camera stop recording . Red Light on, camera in standby mode. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO STOP THE CAMERA FROM RECORDING AFTER YOU PUT IT INTO MOTION RECORDING MODE? MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. My deer hunting trail cameras are a million times better, and easy to use, they are just large and hard to hide in the house.

it doesn't work at all. I bought it to monitor the front door. It has one recording on it from 2007? Is this thing a scam?

Not worth it
You have to unplug and get the card out and then put it in the computer and then download all the content. A job within its self. Then put it back up. Battery life does not last long. Will be returning
