This was an easy albeit slightly outdated informative book. Outdated only because of the cell phone and surveillance technology advancements since its original publication. Otherwise a good read.

We see all the 007 stuff in the movies, but this book has truly put me on alert, it is scary what they can do provided on what ones' agenda is. I walk in a store and ask about this technology and the so called expert doesn't have a clue! Neither did I until I read this book...

This is one scary read! Very eye opening! ( Or maybe ear opening! LOL!) This book tells you the dangers that lurk out there. There are a lot of bad and nasty people that can take advantage of the vulnerabilities of your smartphone. If you own a smartphone you need to buy this book!

I have a technical back round and I have found this (e-book) very well written an informative for both the tech and non techie alike.I would give it 5 stars but I haven't finished it yet. I can say that this is 'the' informative guide to what we have been mindlessly carrying in our pockets over the last 10 years, and also how the advances in mobile technology are light years ahead of the average user's comprehension of such (-there's an app for that...);).With so many app fire walls and checkers available, I was duly impressed that Mr. Murray points out and explains -in-plain-language- that measuring the duty cycle is probably the only proof positive one may have of malware embedded in our candy crush...... Kudos

Must buy, if you have forgotten about technology and your kids are gaining more knowledge than you, this will put you ahead of your kids, plus will help you to keep you and your family save from the latest phone fever that is leaving many in debt and leading much more people into debt.

Just started reading--looks good so far--certainly worth the price if you don't know about your phone yet.

a waste of money, book pretty much says the same thing over and over and was of little or no value.
