This Moroccan lamp is excellent.It's tall enough to be impressive, and the opening at the top is easily large enough to put your hand in and put a candle or timer light.We didn't want a solar light as it's going in a gazebo, so this is perfect. Although you could fit a solar light in it and have the cable running out through the bottom if you want to.It's a very dark bronze on the outside, with a gold inside, so reflects light around inside.You could put a bulb up through the bottom and convert it to a table lamp, which I may do, as I'm getting a second one.One other thing: it would make an interesting storage container, as the hinged top makes it like a jar.It looks like iron, but it's quite lightweight; the wide base makes it feel sturdy and strong. It looks a lot heavier than it actually is.

Absolutely Beautiful lamp. I agree with others that the bottom of the lamp makes it difficult to stand tealights in the middle but I've put 4 tealights in there anyway. Very big lamp but looks great on my window sill.

This Moroccan lamp is good value and as good as it looks in the pictures. The shadow effect is amazing...just using a tea light it throws designs on the walls and ceiling ...very effective. I'm very happy with it.

Very pleased with delivery. Ordered the lamp one day arrived the next day with prime. Great looking lamp and nice effect you get when the candle is lit. The first one i saw on Amazon seemed a bit pricey so I carried on searching and found the same one on Amazon by another supplier cheaper, so bear that in mind when ordering. All in all very happy we purchased this particular lamp.

I love the fact you have a choice of what kind of lighting you can use with this lantern.I used electric string lights but you could equally use battery operated ones or tea lights etcSuch a pretty feature for a dark corner in a room.I will buy varying lighting options , white coloured etc so I can rotate the look as and the. I feel like a change.
