Why did you choose this product over others?: Generally a good pair of glasses, I use them for running and the lenses are nice and clear. The only issue I’ve had is the lenses popping out the frame when I clean them.

I love these sunglasses! They fit so well and are comfortable to wear all day and don't look cheap despite being cheap to buy! I wore my first pair to death until the lenses eventually became scratched and then bought new pairs the same because I love them. The lenses are great quality and exceptionally clear. My eyes are very sensitive to sunlight and these glasses provide great protection and are great for driving.

I recently purchased the Jim Halo Polarized Sunglasses with high hopes for both style and functionality, especially given the claims of superior polarized lenses and a wraparound design. While they do have some great features, there was one aspect that left me a bit disappointed: the tortoise shell design. Design and Aesthetic The first thing I noticed when I received the sunglasses was the tortoise shell pattern—or rather, the lack of it. The description had promised a classic tortoise shell design, which I was really excited about, as I love the look of that style. However, upon closer inspection, the pattern was incredibly faint and barely noticeable. It looked more like a very subtle brown gradient rather than the bold, distinctive tortoiseshell pattern I had expected. In certain lighting conditions, you could hardly tell it was there at all, and it certainly didn’t have the same depth or richness that the typical tortoise shell look is known for. This was a bit of a letdown, especially when the design is one of the key selling points of these sunglasses. Polarized Lenses & Performance On the positive side, the polarized lenses did live up to their claims. The sunglasses effectively reduced glare and provided great clarity, which made them ideal for outdoor activities. Whether I was driving or out on a walk, the lenses helped to reduce eye strain from bright sunlight, and I noticed a significant improvement in visual comfort. The lenses also seemed to protect my eyes well from UV rays, which is always a key feature I look for in sunglasses. The wraparound design of the frames is also worth mentioning. It offers excellent coverage, and the fit is snug without being uncomfortable. They’re ideal for sports or active use, as the design helps keep them securely in place. Fit and Comfort In terms of fit, these sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The wraparound style is flexible and seems to suit a variety of face shapes, offering decent coverage without feeling too tight or too loose. Pros: Polarized lenses: Great for reducing glare and protecting your eyes from UV rays. Comfortable fit: Lightweight and flexible, making them great for active use or long periods of wear. Wraparound style: Provides good coverage and helps keep the sunglasses in place during movement. Affordable: Given the performance of the lenses, these sunglasses are reasonably priced. Cons: Faint tortoise shell design: The tortoise shell pattern is extremely subtle, almost unnoticeable in certain lighting, which might disappoint those expecting a more vibrant and traditional look. Design may not stand out: If you're after sunglasses that make a style statement with a bold design, these might not be the right choice. Conclusion The Jim Halo Polarized Sunglasses are excellent in terms of functionality, providing great polarization and comfort for outdoor use. However, if you're drawn to these sunglasses for their tortoise shell design, be prepared to be disappointed. The pattern is so faint that it’s barely visible, which really detracts from the overall aesthetic appeal. For those who prioritize performance over style, these sunglasses are still a solid choice, but if you're after a bold or classic tortoise shell look, you might want to look elsewhere.

Light and sit nicely on the face. Would definitely recommend as do the job and look good.

A good product

Nice fit and does its job.

The quality is quite nice and I see no quality difference between my Oakley on which I spent around INR 12500 and this one merely below INR 1000. Don't be bothered by Made in China as the quality is very good. In my opinion, look at the quality of the product and don't just pay for a brand name. Even Oakley lenses wear out after regular use so this one might not seem to be a bad investment. It felt very comfortable going out in the sun as it can handle extreme UV rays as well. You might not get one side of it covered with plastic but that's probably their own packaging style and anyway who keeps the plastic coverings :D I would say go for it and try it and it could be a good one to have in your collection, if you don't like it, you can always return an unused returnable product back within the specified timeframe. Usually I don't post so many reviews but some reviews can help others make choices :)
