EM351416 Emachines Laptop DC Power Jack for E520, E620, E627 NEW DC Jack Center pin diameter: 1.65mm

After receiving this part and desoldering the old jack, I noticed that the rear pin was slightly shorter than the one that was in the laptop. It didn't quite come through the connection on the board. I got it soldered in and it would not power up. After 2 more times disassembling it and resoldering it, still nothing. I have replaced these types of parts several times and not had any problems before. The length of the rear pin is about 1.5 mm shorter than the original one, and I believe that is what caused the issue here. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for this part, as it is NOT an exact replacement.

this worked well for the Acer Aspire.the pictures online allowed for easy comparison of pin position. The only thing to make it easier would've been having the measurements.

Quite the job to install but once it was put back together I have no complaints. Brought a co-workers old laptop back to life.

The DC jack in my grandson computer was broken. I unsoldered broken one and soldered this one in .It worked great
