Earlier, I wrote a review about this headphone I got for my son. Well, I decided to get my own. Here are my impressions. Initially, I was a little disappointed because the sound was bass-heavy and the midrange was closed in and distant. Vocals didn't sound that great. Didn't sound balanced. But, I know most transducers need time to break-in, so I played a variety of music through it. After several hours of listening, the sound started to open up and the midrange improved. After about a day, it really sounded good, and I have been listening with pleasure since. The bass is still strong, but is better balanced with the rest of the spectrum. Listening to jazz, vocals, classical, rock, acoustic, etc. on my iPhone and Mac. I feel that it's usable on any kind of music. Also lightweight and comfortable. Loving it. What a great set of cans. Isolation is pretty good, but not total. That's fine. I even tested it on an phone call, because I'd been playing music from my iPhone. I haven't heard myself, but the other person seemed to hear me fine. One caveat. I plugged it into a 3.5mm stereo extension cable and lost one of the channels. Plugged it in direct to my Mac and it played fine. Doh... it needs a four conductor (TRRS) extension cable because of the mic contact. At any rate, highly recommended and a bargain.

These headphones exceeded my expectations. Sound is crisp and clear. Volume control and noise cancellation are excellent, although I confess I have only used the volume control on my iPod or my laptop, not on the headphone wire. Although the product description mentions that the connector is made of metal, which is a positive, the description does not mention that the adjustable band also is made of metal (which is covered by padding). This was the clincher to make me buy because metal is sturdier than plastic and is more durable with use. Compact storage and a reasonable price round out the positives. I cannot think of any negatives. I purposely waited before posting this review to see if there were any issues and there are no issues so far (purchased in May 2020). Very pleased with this purchase.

One of best buys I've made on Amazon. Very good sound quality, good looking design with flat folding stowage, high quality materials, and a nice fit.I had to laugh at myself for spending five to ten times more for variousin-the-ear devices over the past few years, thinking that they could provide a superior listening experience. But they don't. There does seem to be a subtle acoustic advantage with phones v. bud type devices.Oh yeah, and I don't think the wax and microbiota growing on in-ear devices is a aesthetic or health advantage over headphones.

I was satisfied by these headphones. I have a big head and ears so my previous pairs would never fit without some sort of pain. If I wore them for too long, my ears would really hurt after I took the headphones off. With this pair, I barely felt that pain.Regarding the sound, there was nothing too special. The headphones kept the sound in very well so I didn't need to worry too much in public.I would say that my biggest problem with this product is the wire. I personally dislike extremely long wires because they always get caught on something. Standing up with these headphones on was a pain because most of the time it would get snagged by some obstacle and either pull the wire out of the jack or pull the headphones off my head. This is an extremely minor issue, but it's rather annoying and possibly dangerous to my computer.The connector is straight, which also brings up a minor issue for my laptop since it has the headphone jack on the side. That means the spring would almost always be at a 90 degree angle. Eventually the spring bent, sending the wire off diagonally. The unevenness doesn't look that good, and bending the wire in different directions changes the volume of the sound and/or adds noise.Overall, this is a really good product for its price of $18.99. From a very shallow search it was the cheapest product that didn't have those gaming microphones that stick out because I personally dislike those.

We needed headphones that could fit in a pencil box for school, and my son didn't want earbuds. These are perfect for that! The fold up well, yet seem sturdy enough to last. They are comfortable on the ears and head, adjust easily, and the sound quality is good.They aren't the best at noise cancellation, but that's probably good for use at school since he'll need to hear his teacher say it's time to do something else. They don't adjust small enough for my 7yr old,but that's ok.

These are awesome. I bought them for my son to use w/ his Alesis electric drum set and the sound is perfect. He even use them with his PS4 as a mic. You can hear the bass and treble clearly w/ these. Good size (my son has curly thick hair & my husband has dreads), so if you have a big head or hair, they’re adjustable and they fold up! They’re so good, my husband ordered him a pair as well. Great product!

I have purchased three of these. One last year. Did not last long but my son was probably too young. The two I have now have lasted for over six months. I'm hoping for at least a year. I wrap the cord around and don't crimp the insert areas. I don't leave them just lying around either. Just a little extra care, you know like you want them to last.

We purchased these for my son's video homeschool where he listens to class lectures as well as some music. So far, they work very well with our laptop. The price was very reasonable for an accessory item, and we received them on prime 2 day shipping as expected. The cord is also long enough so it doesn't unplug when moving around the desk or opening drawers. We also like that it folds up for easier storage.

Great earphon'es, sound great with a wide range of music,country ,jazz,rock,classic etc.Highly reccomend these earphones.

The volume is uncomfortably too loud and it's not very comfortable to wear, ears starts to hurt after a 15 minutes.

Need a bit more volume than cheaper models but still good.

How cool are these phones man!!!, Surprised me for the money paid was expecting far lower quality of item, but yet again Amazon has surpassed my expectations....thank you
