It worked
With a fingers- crossed hope that I’d diagnosed the problem correctly I ordered this part and to my relief and slight surprise, it did fix the problem!

Different part number sent
When the controller arrived EARLY (yay} I got to work on our oven, then I saw the part number was different than what I had ordered, OH NOOOO! So I compared the appearance of each along with the new overlay and noticed nothing that stood out so I proceded to install it in the range, turned on the power and EVERYTHING WORKED, yay. I ordered a controller ending in 807 the one that shipped ended in 400. So for this review ALL IS GOOD, thank you.

Did not come with new face cover for buttons.
Part was the right one for my stove. I was disappointed that it didn't come with new face cover. Was able to reuse old cover but be careful when removing it from the old one.

Fit as it should have, the timer beeper is very quiet, making it hard to hear.

So far so good, came fast in original packaging, installed by uTube video with somwhat challanges, but works great so far
