Cambridge Preparation for the TOEFL® Test Book with CD-ROM

Very good to prepare TOEFL test. The CD is very useful and the book is very well explained.

I bought this book 6 months before my TOEFL iBT test and it was the only preparation material I used. I would recommend it to anyone signing up for the test, as there are plenty of exercises and simulations both in the book and on the CDs. I found them very helpful, as I used to practice with the CD and a timer, which helped me get used to the structure and work on my answer to time ratio. If it helps, following preparation with this book, I obtained a score of 109 out 120 in April 2012.

If you want to run this course using a Mac you will not be able to unless you have a very old Mac with PowerPC. I e-mailed the company and their technical department told me that the CD rom has not been updated with the book ( even though they say this edition is 2012) and is not compatible with the new generation MACs. This is not good enough, and I still await a reply to my complaint to Cambridge Publications. Sloppy service from a normally reliable publishing house.

Libro imprescindible para aprobar el examen con nota. El CD que viene es muy útil y combinándolo con algunas clases de YouTube, el examen se puede sacar con nota alta. Libro recomendado para gente que quiera sacarse el título con nivel medio alto de inglés

Great book...was very very helpful and still use to this day as a reference book.

Il libro è arrivato senza nessun problema, in pochissimo tempo e con il cd. Alcune recesioni dicono che non contiene il cd con i test, invece lo contiene. Ottimo per prepararsi all' Internet Based Test del TOEFL. COntiene un sacco di consigli pratici e di esercizi. Super consigliato. Super consiglio di comprarlo su Amazon perchè in libreria chiedono 50euro invece di 34!

This book helped me a lot. I did not need any guide or tutor for my toefl preparation. I got less than one month to prepare for my exam and this book is all I had. The exercises are very detailed. If you're able to finish the whole book before your exam strategically, scoring 100+ won't be a problem. Must use all the given CDs. I scored 104/120 with 27 in listening, speaking, writing and 23 in reading on my first attempt and thanks to this book for my preparation. I will certainly recommend this book and a few youtube videos for the final prep, then you're good to go.
