What's the difference between the 35mm and 50mm?. Picture show same width.

35mm is relatively narrower and 50mm is relatively wider. The width of both of them is not the same.

I read that its adhesion is not very good and a double sided tape can help. Is Scotch's double sided tape sticky enough? Or heavy duty?

I have had no trouble with mine sticky on the door and window sill. I would be afraid to use double stick tape because it will come loose then When you put in on press down and slide your finger over it to seal it tight. Make sure not to touch the sticky . good luck I love it has saved me lots of money.
