Absolute Rubbish
Don't bother. Worked ok for a couple of months and actually produced some strong lighting. Unfortunately its no longer working. Opened the device thinking that the battery needs changing but failed to identify which batteries they were??. Have seen nothing of this type in supermarkets etc.

Great light for places without power
Works very well in a place where we had no power - we run it on dim all night with bright on activation.

Nice large light, though wish it had some diffusion.
I seen a fair few LED security lights in my day, So I thought I would take a look at this one as it is a little larger than most. This contains 38 LEDs rather than the usual 12 and also contains 2 batteries to provide Long lighting times with that amount of LEDs. It is Toblerone shaped, other chocolate bars are available, and is also about the length of a house brick (but not the weight), something I wasn't expecting. In the box is the light itself, a basic user manual and screws and wall plugs to allow you to fix it to a wall.If you are buying one of these please be sure to peel off the protective film over the solar panel, it makes a bit of a difference in charging times. This thing has three different modes, or rather four if you count the off as well. These modes are selectable by a small silicon covered switch right next to the infrared detection dome. The three modes are best described as1 It lights up dimly when the sun goes down and then comes on fully when it detects movement and goes off about 10 seconds after movement stops2 Off completely until it detects movement after the light level drops, and goes off about 10 seconds after movement stops3 On continuously when the light level drops until the battery runs out.4 OffOverall I'm quite impressed with this although there is no diffusion sheet over the LEDs which makes it look a little ugly and can dazzling if you look directly into it. Also the LEDs are not all exactly the same colour, not a huge issue but should be mentioned. A fully charged battery seems to last for ages certainly an night's worth of light but to be aware that once we get into the winter months the battery will die quickly due to the lack of direct sunlight. This product was sent to me for review purposes. This has no effect on my opinion. I provide unbiased professional reviews and award stars based on performance, ease of use and value for money. This sometimes causes problems with the distributor or manufacturer but it has no effect on my review.

Flicker
This is a lovely looking light, I was attracted to it because it has 38 LED lights instead of the 12 I have been used to.So I agreed to test and review it.The thing is, its switched on and its not gaining any sunlight its pretty dull here where I am living. I have put it further out next to some other lights similar but less LEDS and they seem to be switching on OK, but not for long. This one just flickers for a while.I feel its more because we do not have a really summer here in the UK at the moment than the fault of the light maybe.
