Excellent iron. Easy to use and does a great job. It is light weight yet heavy enough to get all the wrinkles out. Good value too.

Good iron that is easy to use. My biggest gripe is the length of the lead. It is too short and makes ironing a bit more of a pain. I have to use an extension lead and put the socket under the ironing board otherwise it is just too short to be useful. My second gripe is with the stand/base; it does not fit very well on my ironing board rest. I think it is designed to fit a flat rest, where mine has an open style rest for laying the iron in.

Did have an earlier model for several years. Easy to use. Steam action great for shirts. Easy storeage.Lightweight which is so important. Delivery first class.

this was delivered well packed and on time.it was exactly as stated,we bought this to replace our old tefal iron that was not working so we had a good idea what we were getting.it is a good reliable product and would have no problem recommending this to anyone.very happy with purchase.

Tefal FV4090 Ultraglide Steam Iron is easy to hold and even easier to use. It irons very fast and you will find it a very useful tool.

I have used Tefal irons for decades. My last one gave up the ghost after 15 years. I don't even look at other brands now. It's a iron and does the job. Sole plate newer technology means it glides effortlessly which is nice. The cord could do with being a little longer if I'm honest but expect it's industry standard these days like most things. I never use steam which I know reduces the life of any iron however I still think they are the best irons out there. I did weigh it and it's slightly heavier than previous models but it's still comparable with other brands. Personal choice I'm sure but I still recommend them.

I've only used the iron for about 2 weeks. My impression so far is that the iron is lightweight and glides smoothly on the ironing board. If you want to clean the iron due to limescale build it, there is part near the hole you use to refill water where you can easily dissemble and clean. Overall the product was exactly what I wanted so I am very satisfied.The only critic in the design would be the location of the squirt button. It is located on the handle so ocassionally when you hold the iron, you accidentally push the button. It doesn't bother me as I have small hands but it might be something you want to take into consideration.
