Seems to work well on a trusted LAN - but has seeming poor security for remote access
The Aviosys IP Power 9255 works as advertised (so far at least - as I have only just installed the unit and can't comment on reliability yet). My only criticisms would be that the web interface / firmware seems a little clunky and its security seems a little suspect. The admin account only accepts an unencrypted 8 digit password. This is fine for use on a small trusted LAN, but I would not want to enable the built in web server or access the unit remotely outside of the LAN without using an encrypted VPN.
