Wonderfully made and fantastic pretend play
We bought the three bears and this. We love them both. Want to buy the three pigs set one day soon too bc now we love that story. :)These are very well designed and illustrated. My child has spent hours playing with these. She is focused and makes the voices for the characters. Often I read the books included while she plays. She will finish the sentences. Now she has learned to put them together as well. Our set from two years ago even after LOTS of use is still functioning very well.We bring the little characters with us sometimes on the road. And she will play with them at a restaurant or in car. These are great sets. Totally awesome gift idea as well. Most people we know haven’t heard about them till they see ours.Fantastic alternative to screen time. :)Can’t wait to order the three pigs set soon.

Cute but confusing instructions
It’s cute, pretty well-made (the foam is thick and dense so it seems like it will hold up to my crazy 5 year old), the printing on the paper covering is high quality. The only negative is the instructions and a couple weird details that don’t make sense. It seems as though the model and pieces were updated (simplified) at some point and the instructions were not updated to reflect this. There’s also one area that there’s a piece that’s no longer a part of the set, but now there are just cats and treasures floating on the ceiling instead of “on a shelf”.You wouldn’t think this would be too terribly difficult to put together for an adult, and it really wasn’t once I stopped paying attention to the instructions. The instructions definitely showed pieces that aren’t included anymore, different shapes than the ones that are included, and connecting to things that just don’t exist, but once I was able to put things together that the instructions were bad vs pieces being misplaced, it went much easier and the kiddo is happy, which is really all that matters!

Great for kids!
The media could not be loaded. Great for kids to play out the story and let the imaginations take over!

Loved it! This is our second purchase from the ...
Loved it! This is our second purchase from the series and I can't express how pleasantly surprised we were with the product. Every single detail has improved tremendously from last year's model! The instructions, the images, the sturdiness of the parts, the feel and look of the book itself. Our daughter is so so excited to play and reenact the story. She's also wished for all the other products/ shops, featured in the box and available from Storytime Toys. Long story short - we are hooked and would love to build our collection!

cute graphics, peeling images, hard to assemble
This is the same thing I said about the Gingerbread House by this company.. I purchased this item because the graphics looked very cute. It is hard to assemble and if a child was assembling it they would find it impossible, the tabs bend and the directions are extremely vague. The only way to get it together was to look at the picture on the box and then use trial and error to be sure the pieces were in the right spot. It falls apart easily so some "ultimate glue" might be a good idea. The graphics in some places have peeled from the edge. I would not buy this again, I am keeping it because I took the time to piece it together, but am so disappointed.

The travel case doesn't work
My child likes to play with this. The story was different than the version I'm familiar with. My biggest compliant is the "travel case." You can put the pieces in, but unless the entire thing stays upright, everything, especially all of those tiny tiny pieces, just fall right out. I'm sure that in just a week half of our pieces are lost because they have fallen out of the case. The "puzzle" part is very difficult to put together. The instructions actually tell parents they expect you to get frustrated building these houses and that's OK....I think that means it's too complicated.... especially as a assemble and dissemble toy.

Very nicely made and fun to build and play!
This is precious! The detail is impressive. Pieces fit and hold together very well. Kids enjoy the puzzle of putting it together as much as playing with it. I bought a tin birdcage tree ornament on the auction site, and hung it from the top rafter. We use Playmobil Hansel & Gretyl people to add realistic play. And then we watch (over and over) the old H&G movie with Cloris Leachman as the witch.
