ARIATMen's WorkHog Waterproof Work Boot

Ordered size was perfect fit , looks good , and not super heavy , easy to walk in and drive with .

This will be my third pair. We have a hobby farm with horses and lots of critters. My boots get some pretty authentic use. Found these several years ago. Fit is great. Waterproofing is incredible, literally walk through deep puddles and edge of pond and never get wet inside. Soles have just the right grip without big lugs to collect Texas mud/clay. My first pair got ruined from a cement job we did but I kept them to use for that type of work again. Second pair is going strong. Bought these because they were on sale for a great price and these boot rarely go on sale. So will simply stash them until my current pair bites the dust. If you use your work boots enough that you care about details then these are the investment you have to make.

I ride a motorcycle an hour each way to work every day. After getting caught in the rain a few times, I soon took to wearing boots as my primary footwear. I needed high boots and hate all that lacing, I found western boots suited me well. Some brands did not feel right for me from the start, but I did find a few pairs of other brands that I liked. Yet, once I got my first pair of Ariats, I was sold. They have been the best fit and comfort for me. After several years of wearing Ariat western boots, I decided that I would look into waterproof boots. I also wanted to try boots with a lower heel as I have wondered if some of my back problems might be aggravated by the higher heel in some western boots. So, I decided to try the Ariat Workhog. The fit seemed perfect when I first put them on. However, the boots quickly loosened up as they broke in. After reading some of the reviews, I became a bit concerned that they would become TOO loose. Part of the deal here is that they are NOT western boots. They are more like engineer style boots. The high heal of western boots shoves your foot into the toe, giving you that snug feel. It had been a long time since I wore engineer boots, but recalled how they had a little "swim" to them. I have been growing to like this feel, and they are not getting TOO loose...not even close to causing any rubbing, irritation or even hinting at blisters that I had experienced with engineer boots years ago. These boots are a LOT warmer than my western boots (riding in single digit temps this year) and I found they actually stay warmer with one pair of socks than two! I think these are my new favorite boot, and I am likely to get another pair in another color.

Loved the style but was the wrong described boot, not waterproofed. Second day wearing left boot loop ripped off. Hard getting off and on in cotton socks. Harder off with sweaty feet.Recommend where a polyester sock of some sort.Left boot heel started to squeak after third day.Still loved the style!Hoping to find a durable comfy pair...that fits correctly. One day, I hope.

Great fit. Very comfortable to wear. I work in HVAC, and standing on ladders all day used to kill my feet. With these boots, I can go all day and not have aching feet when I get home. They fit great, a little snug at first but after a few weeks they opened right up. They are waterproof, but I'd still recommend going over them with Hubberds or mink oil beforehand. They are NOT insulated, so while they are great to wear during the summer, (they get a little warm, but what leather boots don't), winter I've found they're good down to about 20 degrees. All said, I'd definitely buy these again. Only reason this got a 4 star is because I've only had them for a few months and can't speak to the longevity. Will update in about a year.

I bought these for my son who had started a new job at Discount Tire. He had never worn work boots before but rather swore by Nikes and other types of shoes that would offer him no protection at all at work. He accepted them "kicking and screaming". Fast forward 10 months and you will find that I have since bought him 3 more pairs of Ariat boots for various occasions (at his request!). He loves their fit, style and comfort and now refuses to wear anything but Ariat. This particular style boot is still his favorite. They keep his feet dry and warm while working in a wet and cold environment.SIZING: as expected. He normally wears a size 13 and that is what I ordered for him. He said they were a little snug in the beginning but they stretched out to be perfect within a couple of daysCOMFORT: If he could sleep in them as well, he would have. He now thinks these are more comfortable than his beloved Nikes.WATERPROOF: They keep his feet warm and dry even while collecting tires in the snow.SOLES: Provide excellent traction!BREAK-IN PERIOD: None!Great boot! Boots arrived and were exactly as described. I tried a bigger size on in my town to know how they would feel on my feet and since the business I went to didn't have it I ordered on here. These fit good and are comfortable.

I've worn Ariat boots for over 20 years. I've loved them and they've been a great value. I'm hard on my boots and count on them to last. Usually, I can get a year of use out of a pair, if I'm lucky. My last pair lasted me almost 2! But after this last pair, I'm not sure if I can stay loyal to Ariat. I've had this pair for just over a month and the bottom rubber is already deteriorating and chipping off. One of the pull handles has already started to rip, as well. I expect a lot more from a $200+ boot and I've gotten more out of my previous pairs. I can't afford for my boots to start falling apart so quickly, and I have been disappointed by Ariat boots for the first time. Unfortunately, it may be the last pair of their boots I own.

The quality product you would expect from Ariat. True to size. Comfortable right out of the box. Courier misplaced my package, I contacted the vendor and they had a new package shipped from south Carolina to Alberta in a day and a half. Premium service from an excellent vendor.

Si usted es 27.5 recomendaría un 27.0tengo un modelo diferente en ariat misma talla y el modelo workhog es ligeramente mas ancho.Con calcetín mas grueso ajusta.

The shoes fit perfectly, and are a very nice shoe. I would buy them again.

I have sent them for refund as they are not steel toe.
