Reflections at First Light: A Fisherman's Devotional

I bought this book for my dad for his birthday, as he loves fishing. This turned out to be one of the best gifts ever. He has talked about it at least four times since his birthday this past October, saying how he loves the stories and has even reread some already. He says he's going to pass it on to my husband when he's done because he believes he will love it, too. I don't know too many details about the book itself beyond what's in the description, but I do have a very enthusiastic review from my dad about the contents. He said the author talks about his journey with God, but it's not pushy in any way, and the writing is highly engaging. He has thoroughly been enjoying it. So don't hesitate to get it for the fisherman in your life!

I bought this devotional for my fisherman father-in-law for Father’s Day and it’s perfect for them! It connects deeper than a page or 2 devotional and tells some fantastic stories. It’s great for a longer term devotional during the year and can be reused for years after. My personal plus is that the father in this book lived in Vietnam where my father-in-law was a missionary for many years! It’s a great idea for the fisherman in your life. They will truly appreciate these daily devotions.

Lindher's have a gem here. I enjoyed reading all the devotions and have used this as a morning devotional with a men's fishing retreat.

Inspirational short reads. Would definitely recommend.

The entries in this book are well written. I bought the book because I am a Christian and I love to go fishing. I follow Al Lindner on their TV shows about fishing. His chats at the end about the Bible and living a Christian life is uplifting and encouraging to me. I am happy that they both stand up for their faith when they are in the public eye. To me the book was worth every penny that was printed on the book cover ($11.99). I bought the book for under the printed price through Amazon. That was good. However,I was amazed at how much UPS charged to bring the grand total to $23.96.

Enjoyed the stories from two fishing legends and their life lessons!

I Read this book in two evenings. I Couldn't put it down. I Really enjoyed it. I Highly recommend it!
